Loved every bite of everything I ate. The best thing was I could eat almost anything on the menu (it can be hard to eat out with my diet restrictions). Will go back in a heartbeat!!
I have eaten there several times and always do when I am in town. Ron puts a high priority on incredible vegan ingredients. Non-vegans wouldn't even know...a good gateway cafe to bring your non-vegan friends to!!
We loved SunCafe! Our entrees included the nachos, a pizza, tofu dish, and lasagna. Our waiter was so nice and helpful picking out entrees and serving with a smile. We sat outdoors under a sunshade. Yum!
My favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. Tastiest vegan place with stunning patio. Favorites are the Kale Shake, Mac n Cheese, Nachos, Shepherd's Pie. Huge selection of gluten free items too! It never disappoints and very friendly not snooty staff.
Beautiful vegan cafe. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the evening atmosphere. I ordered the Tempeh Stir Fry which was absolutely delicious and moreish. Their smoothies were yummy and fresh. Well worth a visit if you are in the area!
Sun Cafe is Very cozy and charming, the menu is unexpected and daring. I had two pizzas, the black garlic mushroom and a seasonal pizza with bbq sauce, squash and cashew cheese. Both had rice crust. They were incredibly complex and delicious. For dessert I went for a blueberry coconut pie (ish) thing that was delicious and refreshing. I highly recomend this place, it's a hidden gem.
My favorite restaurant in LA. I got the zucchini lasagna and tried the almond cheesecake for dessert...both amazing. I was talked into trying the PB banana cupcake too. Oh goodness...it is scrumptious! Definite must in LA!

The food at Sun Cafe has a feeling of lightness and creativity. Best of all, whenever I visit, I leave feeling revitalized and energized.
The specials sounded so good, we had to order those… …but we did get some of the restaurant's most popular raw dishes, as suggested by our incredibly friendly and knowledgable server, Hong.
The food is always great here, my only regret is not switching tables to avoid the crass drunk friend of the owner excessively loud yell "talking" the entire time which basically distracted me from the true dining experience that I know Sun Cafe is. I only have myself to blame, but so grateful this place still exists and provides a humane dining experience. The raspberry lemon cupcake for my birthday was divine!!
Suncafe is a great gem in the area. They have something for everywhere. Although it is a vegan place, we are always satisfied with what is offered. I especially love their desserts. I sometimes come just for the dessert. The servers here seem to have lots of practice with people asking a million questions. Sorry if I added to it! But, with plenty of parking and being right by the highway, they are a great stop.
We were looking for a vegan option during our visit to Universal Studios and landed on this gem. The food was on point and served with love. The ambience is also cozy so a perfect place to hangout with your loved ones.
The best vegan food I have had. Great flavours, I had the nachos followed by the pesto pizza it was so flavoursome 😍 Loved the date coffee milkshake - just so good. Small place with indoor / outdoor seating.
Honestly one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles. Pretty chill vibes. I love the lasagna and the Mac and cheese; tacos also really good. Honestly everything here is good. The food is amazing. Limited parking near the front and street parking available

Lettuce leaf taco 10/10 very good and flavorful. Many vegetables so I love that
Chicken wings 8/10 middle tasted like soy. Bbq sauce 10/10
Mac & cheese 10/10 highly recommend! So good! One of the best vegan Mac and cheese I’ve had.
Chicken curry 10/10 very good.
Pesto pasta 8.5/10 not a big fan of nuts, if the nuts weren’t in it then 10/10
Wine can pass Robles 10/10 got the bottle
We got the breakfast sandwich and the chicken pesto panini with some coffee. We had great service but the food was a bit too oily. Would deff come back for comfort food but was expecting a more healthy alternative!
The service was great! We tried the truffle pizza, mini nachos, mini Mac and cheese, and the cacao nibs coffee milk shake. Everything was just brilliant. The pizza especially is a must try, and so is the milkshake. Definitely must try.
Vegan restaurant - not what I expected - in a good way! I chose to dine here as the menu sounded fresh and tasty but I didn’t realise it was completely vegan and I’m thankful for my oversight because all the food and drinks were fantastic, very tasty! I would absolutely return here and have already recommended it to a vegan friend.
The avocado toast is delicious! The ramen is very fresh and so pleasant. The risotto’s flavors are on point and the cashew sour cream very good.
We’re not vegan and we love it. I’m gluten-free and stoked to have SO many options and delicious homemade breads here.
Our waiter Adam is wonderful: friendly, knowledgeable, fast, warm, and helpful to the extreme.
Will come back! Can’t believe it took me so long to finally try SunCafe 🌞
