Great place with good food. The pizza was no on dinner menu but they still offered it and it was good The vegetarian dishes were to the point, fresh and tasty

This place is aesthetically beautiful. Great design. Really nice place. Service was great. The food was good. Little pricey. But a great place to grab lunch.

Always a great spot but disappointed by the yoghurt parfait- which was served in a to go cup and lacked fresh fruit- this is easy to make better than below mediocre. In general, bummed to see the reduction of weekday breakfast service. Great atmosphere and staff!

French toast is a dessert. Absolutely incredible. Would give 4.5 stars to the Goldie breakfast and the mushroom pizza

We received such lovely service from Nico! The outdoor seating area is very nice, and feels a bit secluded with the bushes behind the bench-style seating. The food that we tried was delicious, and Nico was very helpful with answering questions that we had about the menu! We tried the Baja Octopus Ceviche, J-1 Steakhouse Burgers, Tea, Cucumber Mint Lemonade, Tea Cake, and the Cinnamon Roll. Each of these were super delicious. The burgers we had were very juicy, definitely on par with some of the best hamburgers that we've had in the area. The ceviche was very fresh as well, and light. The amount of lime they used was perfect, and the jalapeños added a nice touch! Nico recommended the desserts when we asked, and we're so glad that we did. That pecan cinnamon roll was so good, but the tea cake was still very good as well! We will definitely be back to try more!

Update: 5 years later and The Rose is still fantastic. Had brunch here and it was absolutely deliciousness. This time is was the hot fried chicken sandwich and I would totally recommend it. We had dinner with friends at Rose Cafe and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and interesting, the service was on top of it, from the servers to the valet. I would recommend making a reservation as it can get very busy. If you haven't been since they redid it, you should stop by and give it a shot...you can thank me later!

The Rose Venice is a tasty spot for tapas style meals that are great for sharing. The food was pretty good but not extravagant. The dishes are a bit on the pricey side given the portion sizes but it's okay quality. I was a bit disappointed, as I'd read that the food was incredible but to me it was lacking something. The wine list is pretty limited and again, quite pricey for what you get. The server was kind and allowed me to taste some of the wines before I made a selection. Atmosphere was cool but they had fans running into the evening on a not very hot night and I was freezing even with a sweater so highly recommend bringing something warm
