Review Beachwood Cafe - Los Angeles

Perfect spot to stop by after your hike! The menu has various options for everyone! Service was quick and amicable. I got a lavender lemonade- very refreshing! For my meal I kept it simple and got the two egg and meat dish. Let's not forget the sharable berries and nuts pancakes!

We went to this cafe for breakfast today after hiking, which was the first time. The atmosphere of the cafe was very intimate. Good energy could be felt. The environment was great. 👉 Pancake Breakfast, which is served with three large pieces of pancakes, is enough for two people. 👈 The portion of the breakfast sandwich was enough for one person...the quality of the cake and the food were excellent...I give all the services 5 out of 5...go and enjoy

Cute neighborhood cafe serving all-day breakfast, plus pizzas and sandwiches. Friendly service, fun decor. And a pretty extensive menu. I opted for the spinach Benedict. As a chicken keeper and egg cookbook author, I'm pretty particular about my eggs... and my Hollandaise. And I have to say that this was delicious. The egg yolks were a nice bright orange colplor and perfectly runny, while the Hollandaise served on the side was lemony and buttery and everything a good Hollandaise should be. I also ordered the asparagus fries - they were crispy and well seasoned and served with ranch dressing. A nice large portion as well. I washed it all down with the basil mint lemonade which was delicious as well. I'll definitely go back. Edited to add: I've been back twice more. I had the breakfast pizza which was a large enough portion for 2 people, then went neck and hash the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. All well-seasoned, perfectly cooked and served with a genuine smile. Lisa Steele Author of The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook

We took a drive on Saturday to Lake Hollywood Park, and we saw this place on the way up/back. We came in tonight because it looked nice from the outside and the menu online looked great. We stopped in about 7:45pm and were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered cocktails, which were decent. The sandwiches were fabulous!! My cousin had the krispy chicken sandwich, and I had the chicken pesto sandwich. The breads and dressings totally elevated the sandwiches. I don't know if I could ever replicate them at home or find them at any restaurant in my hometown. We also ordered dessert to go because we were so full, but the dessert case was ISANE. We will 150% be back.

Ah, The Beachwood Café. While I while admit Harry Styles played a big part in my visit, when you’re actually at the cafe, you can tell why it was worthy of being name dropped. The atmosphere is reason alone to stop in. Always lively, small and charming, it’s a great vibe to walk into after any day, and having a view of the Hollywood sign only helps. For service, both times I’ve had the pleasure of eating here, the service was great, all the staff was nice and friendly and made the experience that much better. Now to the food, I had a burger with sweet potato fries on this most recent trip which was delicious. During my first visit, I had the fell breakfast bowl which was a delightful way to start my day. Coffee might have been out that one time (had too lol) , but there’s plenty of other great options on the menu.

Love this place so much. Tied with Met Her At A Bar for my favorite Eggs Benedict in Los Angeles. We had a wonderful breakfast this Labor Day weekend. Beachwood is located in the Hollywood Hills and really has beautiful surroundings. If you’re lucky enough to sit near a window, like we did, you will have plenty of views of the houses, hills, and passersbys. They have a large, free, parking lot in the back of the restaurant and we were able to find space there for a 10:30AM Sunday brunch. We got lucky with our arrival time so were able to be seated as soon as we arrived. Our server Jennifer G did a great job and was very attentive. As mentioned they have one of my favorite Eggs Benedicts’ in LA. The hollandaise is seasoned well, the eggs were perfect, and they all sit on a Texas toast which really adds to the flavor and allows you to soak up the egg. We also order Caramel Lattes which I would highly recommend, the Avocado Toast as a share plate which was fantastic due to the labneh below the avocado, and also the Berry Pancakes, which were a hit as well. Overall one of my favorite breakfast spots in LA. I love how hidden and out of the way it is. It really feels like a place for LA locals like me; there didn’t seem to be a large tourist crowd like some other locations have. I will be back many times!

We ate in the restaurant for breakfast, and I have to say Beachwood Cafe is just perfect. Anything we tasted in our party of 6 was amazing. Had the most perfect latte I have ever had. Breakfast burrito had so many flavors working so harmoniously, even the potatoes on the side were surprising. I ate half of the burrito before taking the picture, but had to snap one because it was so good! Atmosphere is nice and welcoming. Server was really nice and accommodating. I do believe this is the best breakfast spot I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. Cheers!

I stoppes bwith my friends after a 3-hour hike to the Hollywood Sign, we wanted something to eat. We ordered the Backyard BBQ pizza and the wings (Two flavors: Garlic & Serrano and the Housemad Spicy Buffalo), while I ordered a Mocha Raspberry Latte for my drink. The pizza and wings took around 20-30 mins to come out, but they tasted delicious in the end!

I just wanted to find a cafe in hills to get breakfast for my birthday and I am so glad I picked Beachwood cafe, read the reviews and went for it, we could not be happier with the food and great service we got here.

The popular cafe that everyone knows because it’s in a Harry Style’s song. The atmosphere is very chic and the staff is so attentive!! The baja breakfast burrito with the red salsa on the side hit the spot. The two drinks were passion fruit lemonade and lavender lemonade and my favorite one was the lavender lemonade. Over all this place is a must go for breakfast!!!

As ‘made famous’ in the Harry Stiles song 🎶 .. We were fortunate enough to be staying in the Hollywood Hills for a few days so made a few visits. Has a ‘traditional’ old fashioned ambience. Excellent friendly service… works well QR code waiting … on occasions we were 7 customers. Good food, plenty of variety. Would recommend 🇺🇸😎✔️

Really fun location right below the Hollywood sign. Neighborhood is super cute with lots of old stairs to climb! Take a walk after you eat or work up an appetite. The coffee is good, lots of bakery items to choose from, get some of the bacon! The chilequiles are spicy, the breakfast potatoes are crispy. Overall great experience.

First time in California we went here 3/5 days we were here, it was that good!!! Service was 10/10, food 10/10, atmosphere 10/10. All around great experience, and the s’mores iced coffee with almond milk was absolutely amazing. I can understand why this place is always busy! All three times we came we had no wait but it has been early on weekdays. Everything we’ve tried has been incredibly tasteful and filling. Can’t wait to return next trip to CA!

We had the buttermilk pancakes and the Baja breakfast burrito. Both were very good, and the potatoes that came with the burrito were great. Both meals were very filling, neither of us finished. They have an hour limit on tables, and we were asked to leave by the end of our meal.

Service was fast and food was really good. The waiting line is quite long but moved pretty fast, we waited 30min tops. If you know that you are going to a touristic spot you are good, be patient and it's worth thr wait

we were seated within 10 minutes on sunday morning at 10am. it seems to get very busy around 11am (brunch time). the lemon ricotta pancakes were superb; you don’t even need the syrup. the ricotta on the side is soft and fluffy.

All was perfect, food, servers, everything. The food were innovating, healthy and with a lot of vegetables. The sides were interesting and excellent. They even have house made limonade and pastries. But be prepared to wait a bit, but it's going pretty fast. I recommend a 100% and a little + for the sweet potatoes fries, the best I have even eaten.

Food was pretty good, I love all the healthy and unique dishes that they have here. The most important factor being that everything was delicious, I would recommend. The decor and ambience is also very nice, the service was attentive too. My only complaint would be that the grilled chicken was a tad dry and the tacos weren’t anything special, the meat was not tender at all. But the Brussels sprout chips is a must try and I loved it. Probably would not recommend the dessert here though, it looks heavy and not that great.

Service and the food were what you expect from a fine dining establishment but this has a casual atmosphere where anyone would feel welcomed. Meals were all decently sized and perfectly prepared. Service was prompt and friendly.

The food was excellent. I really thought it was going to be expensive but it was unbelievably affordable. The staff was so incredibly friendly. I also chatted with the owner and she was incredibly nice and grateful that I came to eat in her place. You can tell she has a lot of passion for people and truly wants the best dining experience for each and every guest.

A little pricy for typical food and drink you can get at any brunch spot, but the ambiance, area, and surroundings are worth it. I really enjoyed this place!

I love this quaint, neighborhood cafe. This was only my 2nd time here. My husband and I were in the area so just happened to pop in around dinner on a week night to grab something light to eat. Neither of us are big eaters and it was a bit early, so we shared a mixed green salad with grilled peaches and the halibut as our entree. Both were perfect-fresh ingredients, lots of flavor, and well-prepared. Plenty of food but we decided to hang out a bit longer rather than get mixed up in rush hour traffic so we then ordered (and shared) the rice and tofu bowl with kimchi. I was just going to have a couple of bites as I wasn't hungry any longer but no way- it was way too good to not have more. Service was impeccable. I wish I could remember our server's name to give him credit. Fun, low key vibe. Can't wait to go back.

It was my first night in LA. I went because I could walk from where I was staying. I found the food to be very good and fresh tasting. I had the Poke bowl when came fairly quickly. I had to wait a little for the dessert I ordered but it was not an excessive amount of time to wait seeing as several parties had come in between the time I ordered dinner and the time I ordered the dessert. Overall, I was quite pleased with my first dining experience in Los Angeles.

Great concise menu of superb specialties. W had the BLT, beet salad, quesadilla, and cheeseburger, all great! They also have wine and beer! We'll be back!

I love this place! It's off the beaten path where you can sit down, chill, catch your breath, read, and/or have conversation without yelling. The food is consistantly good and the servers seem to always have a good rhythm. Just good vibes!

Nice. Tasty if limited menu. Not happy about yesterdays Bloody Mary. I miss the pre renivation cafe, but at least thus one does not have rats like the old one did. Progress.
