Good food, good atmosphere
We went two couples. Grabbed a drink in the bar before, which was very good, and then sat down for dinner. Good service, and the pasta was great. I had a pizza which was good but nothing out of the ordinary and felt quite cheap, but everything else was very good. Dimmed lighting, white tablecloth and good interior made the place very cosy.
Beautiful restaurant, stylish people, gorgeous atmosphere. Lively yet intimate. Perfect for a date or a catch up with friends. We sat on the lovely covered front porch. The service was fast and attentive. We shared pizza, spaghetti and the squid. All of the dishes were delicious, we all agreed the pizza was the best GF pizza we'd had - thin and crispy. My only gripe the hostess wasn't warm or welcoming - luckily our servicer was fabulous. Cecconi's always seems busy, even at the bar, so I would definitely recommend booking.
I've been here many times but just got a chance to leave a review. The food is always good especially red quinoa salad with grilled salmon (this is a must for me). I would also recommend cheese platter (cicchetti, cured meats & cheeses ) to start and grilled spicy whole chicken (super tasty). Last time i came here i ordered short rib but it was kinda forgettable. Service from the server or bartender is always excellent, hostess is cute and friendly. It's better to reserve the table earlier or you'll expect to wait more than 30 min especially on weekend. They also provide valet service. Overall, this place is one of my favorite places to eat in LA.
Beautiful place with great vibes !! It's the place to be for a drink or for a delicious dinner ... Service is 5 stars , highly recommended !
Our final happy hour dishes were the Pizzetta, Porchetta, Artichoke, Mushroom & Fontina and Meatballs, Tomato Sauce & Basil. No wonder the man working the pizza oven always smiled…the flavors were fantastically combined and layered over bubbly, slightly burnt crust - just the way I like it. Pizza party in my mouth, people. At that point we were so full, but the black truffle burger we spotted on the table nearby told us that we’d be back for seconds, and very soon. The meatballs were savory, hot and only $4 again…what?! It was the kind of sauce on the bottom of the copper bowl that makes you want to use a spoon. I didn’t…just saying…
Every time I'm in LA we go here and it's always delicious. Bloody's are great and so is the eggs benedict. I've liked pretty much everything I've eaten here!
In my opinion best breakfast/brunch in LA, so many options but while you decide sip on mimosas. I always get either the Full English breakfast or the Eggs Benefict.
Beautiful restaurant, disappointing food. I made a reso at Ceccones on a trip to Los Angeles. It's in the golden triangle in WeHo, close to lots of great shops. I enjoyed the ambiance, the fabulous service, and the tasty libations. I was disappointed with the prosciutto pizza, but I probably should have ordered their famous pasta.
Beautiful Food, Beautiful Room. Cecconi's Mayfair is a favorite of mine and I had never gotten the opportunity to eat at their West Hollywood location until this last week. The service remains great, a continental, Northern Italian menu is strong. I adore that most of the wait staff can speak fluent Italian (as can I) and we were able to converse back and forth.
Their main bar is simply beautiful: Go first for a drink, enjoy the atmosphere and settle in for the evening. This is not a place to rush through a meal, but to sit back, savor and order more.
The whole chicken for two is AMAZING. Reminds me of the Lemon Chicken at Rao's in Harlem. I also tried the short rib, another smashing success.
The whole place is exactly how a restaurant should be run. The opposite reminds me of the utter chaos that is SUR just across the street: They're running busloads of tourists through that place, forgetting manners, service level or decent food, all due to them having been on a television show. It's truly sad. Cecconi's keeps the level on everything high and it's nice to see them not stooping to reality-show hijinks.
Great food and beautiful decor. I love having dinner at the bar here. The food is always outstanding and so is the service.
Great food, service, & vibes! Had dinner here with a large group & it was so great! We ordered a little of everything & I recommend doing it that way b/c there’s so many great options. The lychee martini is the best drink on the menu &
don’t skip dessert, b/c the profiteroles are AMAZING!
I recently went here to catch up with some friends. We originally went to the vegan place across the street, not knowing it was vegan so we quickly left there and went here. Ambience was definitely more our style! We sat on the inside outside, hard to describe. It was in between being completely outside, and being completely inside. Which was perfect, because we were outside, but not in the sun. We had a Bruschetta and a tomato mozzarella, which all had a great presentation and very tasty. I also had the mimosa. Very good! The service was amazing as well! I will definitely be back here!
The food presentation was top notch and tasted great. I was fully impressed by this amazing veggie option that looked like a floral arrangement. Everything was fresh and delicious
Truly earns my for what it's worth 5 stars. Lovely restaurant with a great vibe/energy . Clean and not clustered or closed in. Food an excellent combination of flavors and artistry.
Great italian food and nice atmosphere. Good wine selection. We shared a pizza which was very tasty (and I am italian) and I had the octopus which was also fresh and tender. My friends had a couple of pasta dishes which they really liked. Recommended if you are in the area and fancy some italian food. I tipically don’t go to italian restaurant abroad, but Cecconi’s was really worth it.
Great outdoor seating area, good service (a bit slow, but nothing outrageous
For the price, the portions are a bit ridiculous. $20+ for 4 tiny meatballs? Cmon.
Valet for $16 is a bit too much IMO.
That said, I had a good experience overall.
I recommend:
- profiteroles w/ salted caramel ice cream
-shrimp with squid ink risotto
-veal Milanese (insanely expensive for no reason, but good source of protein and shareable for larger groups)
Meh:
-beef tartare
-stone fruit galette (the fruits were a bit underripe so has a bit of a bite to it)
-cavatelli
-caprese salad
Skip:
-Squash blossoms, served with cold dipping sauce (not sure if intentional)
-cocktails (they could benefit from having more non-sweet options; I would stick with wine here, their somm is knowledgeable)
I actually have never been to brunch at Cecconi’s and boy I had no idea what I was missing out on. The brunch was so delicious…. I had the truffle scramble and it was to die for. As always everything was delicious and the service was excellent. If you have not been to brunch here you must try promise you won’t be disappointed.
Love Lenin so much! His recommendation is on point. Lobster pasta, Calamari and sausage pizza were so good. You should definitely look for Lenin when you dine at Cecconi’s! Will be back for brunch this weekend. Amazing experience 👏👏👏
Clean fresh and flavorful ingredients, the recipes are clearly on point and the service and atmosphere follow suit. Downside, food arrived partially cooled, and both main courses required seasoning (salt), the calamari was tough/chewy and slightly undercooked. This all points to kitchen execution and timing, on a Tuesday night it shouldn't be that hard to get the food right and hot.
Wow this was amazing! Everything was perfect, from the welcome, to our server Jesus, the food, the vibes… everything! Jesus was above & beyond friendly, helpful and paid attention to the smallest details. Apparently Open Table said it was my birthday a few days ago, so he brought dessert… AND it was a vegan dessert because I mentioned I can’t have dairy. Wow, just wow. Come here! Ask for Jesus B!
