This place was very chill. Located right in Venice Beach, it made for a great place to hang out and drink some brews. Their selection of beer is quite large, consisting of a good variety on draft.
The atmosphere is good too, like I before mentioned. It's clean and modern. It also isn't that spacious. But despite that, the place does have a very good vibe.
Overall, I would definitely come back to this place,

We decided to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch while in Venice at the Venice ale house and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was actually really good!!. The views of the beach and the Venice bike path while eating was icing on the cake. Definitely recommend and I'll be going back when next I'm in Venice.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Venice Ale House, and it was a five-star experience from start to finish. The location right on the beach provides a stunning backdrop for a delightful meal. The spicy pineapple margarita was a flavor explosion – the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The mezcal Paloma was equally impressive, offering a refreshing twist on a classic cocktail.
Now, let's talk about the Cali cheesesteak – a true masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality of ingredients shone through. The combination of tender beef, gooey cheese, and fresh California vibes made it a standout dish.
The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. Venice Ale House has undoubtedly become a favorite spot for me, offering a winning combination of great food, creative drinks, and a beachfront atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Was strolling down the boardwalk and was craving some booze for this heat because nothing would cool you down like a nice tasty beverage. I ordered the old fashion with a mango cart to chase it down. The place is small but cozy with outside patio seating. The bartender was quick and definitely knew what he was doing. Prices are excellent for both drinks and food. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.

Place doesn't look like much and if you sit inside don't expect the waitress to take your order (order at the Bar) but hats off to the chef(s). The food here is fantastic, had the games on the TV, beer was cold. Made for a great Sunday lunch.

I assumed they just had a bar food but amazingly their food were delicious. Homemade crab cake plates was bomb with fresh salad and yummy sweet potatoes. Steak sandwich was chewy, juicy and rich. Their homemade aioli sauce makes food perfectly delicious

Chill spot with good food and great views to the beach walking/bike path. Order at the bar. Short wait for food. Highly recommend to refuel after a long beach day.

The food is wonderful. Avocado toast on sourdough, my pick; couldn't be better! My company found the Venice Burger, medium-rare w/ caramelized onions and shrooms to be perfection.

Fantastic beer selection, although would be great if they added a truly gluten free beer, rather than just the gluten-reduced option. Food was great, exceeding our expectations and satisfying two hungry teenagers. Service was brilliant and the DJ was playing some bangers. The hard kombucha is a great addition to a typical drinks menu.

Amazing food, tasty beer and very courteous service! We ordered a coffee Stout and a vanilla Porter, yam unfries and the seared sea scallops. Everything tasted wonderful, the beer was perfect and the service was awesome. We sat out on the patio and will be returning. Thank you!!

Quaint little bar on Venice. The barman is SUPERB and really knows his business! Premises are small and deserves a larger area, but maybe this would detract from the Ambiance ? A great selection of beers and willingness to knock up Cocktails not on the menu. With the decline of Venice since the pandemic this place is one of the highpoint,s .

Had a great experience with the family visiting from Kansas City. The lobster nachos were excellent. The grass fed organic burger was fantastic. Loved the house craft beer. Great service and beautiful view of the sunset on the beach.

Gr8 Place, Gr8 beer selection on tab. Food - I had a burger and the sesame tuna sandwich only but both were delicious and cooked as ordered (beef medium rare Gr8 af). Service was attentive without being intrusive. Nice people around there. Would go again.

Some of the best Food and Beer I have ever had, credit to the Chefs for cooking such amazing food! However the service we received on both occasions eating here was a really big let down. On both occasions we waited a long time to be greeted at our table and it took over 10 minutes to get our first round of drinks. During our meals on both occasions I had to get up and go to the hostess stand for cutlery and extra napkins, because our waitress checked on us very rarely and had lots of tables to serve and didn't really seem to care how we were doing. I understand it is a busy spot, and perhaps if the waitresses had fewer tables to deal with, each table would get the right attention and service they need, I sat with an empty glass a lot, and I could have definitely had 2/3 more beers had the service been more time efficient! Also at the time of paying on the second occasion, I'm guessing the waitress detected my English accent and assumed I didn't know how to tip, writing on the receipt "USA Tipping - 15% 10.65 20% 14.20" I live in Canada and work as a Bartender/Server and I know how to tip and would have most likely tipped over 20% for great service. I found this insulting particularly after such terrible service from someone that didn't really seem to care about us. I continued to tip for the excellent food, not for the service! Please, please, please work on this, I loved everything about this place and would love to see some improvements on my return! :) Thank You Venice Ale House for such fresh food and tasty beers!
