Review Ca' Del Sole - Los Angeles

Beautiful outdoor garden that creates a cozy but intimate atmosphere. The service was great as well as the food. We had great wine as well. It wasn’t even that expensive considering the whole experience. One thing I find funny is mandatory valet parking (7$) when the parking is not really that big, so it seems unnecessary. But otherwise, we had a great time!

I liked that the receptionist didn’t ask whether we made a reservation and just led us straight to a table. A lot of restaurants waste each other’s time asking about reservations when there are so many empty tables these days and I really don’t like it. The food was served fast and they tasted gooood. There are various areas of different vibes indoor and outdoor. Family friendly but looks good for date as well. Fancy looking but quite comfortable as well. Pasta prices were around $20-$30. Valet parking $7. Their desserts looked good but we were out of time so maybe next time-

The Ossobucco and the Fritto Misto were the highlight of my time here. The Ossobucco was soft and matched perfectly with the risotto. The Fritto Misto had a nice combination of calamari, shrimp, tortelli and zucchini. I’m used to my Fritto Misto onlying coming with calamari so it was nice change to have all those extra items. Everything else was mediocre and the complimentary bread was really stale. The Affogato Al Caffe was put together sloppy. I believe valet parking is mandatory. The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area. I would totally come back for the Fritto Misto and the Ossobucco.

I've not been here for many years but it's still the really nice place I remember. Very nice, friendly, attentive staff. Great menu with a lot of great dishes. Great food. Great ambiance both inside and outside. Good valet parking to handle the volume of cars. Great location near Universal City. Looking forward coming back to LA and eating here again.

Food was absolutely top notch. Everything we had was excellent, fresh and very well prepared. Would 100% come back to try the other dishes. Service was abysmal. We were three guys, just finished a job at Universal and walked over for dinner. Maybe it was the fact that we weren't gussied up but were wearing out work clothes, the wait staff was uninterested in serving our table, or requests for water or bread were passed around from server to server. Short of throwing things on the table and walking away, they were quite condescending, perhaps not expecting a tip, based on our appearances. it was quite a disappointing. I still tipped 20% and I'm still annoyed that I did that. Other than that, I would still come back to try some of the other dishes. If you liked my review please give me a thumbs up👍🏾 and follow me for more honest reviews! 🙏🏾

Very tasty and fresh. I will definitely comeback. This is going to be my go-spot for Italian. Very simple food menu with an extensive wine list. We sampled 2 happy hour items: Calamari and Mussels. Best I’ve ever tasted! Our server, Victor had the best hospitality. He brought me a cake for my birthday. Parking was easy on a Monday at 5pm. Crowd was light. Patio lounge very relaxed and inviting. I love sitting outside.

Went here towards the evening worrying about being underdressed (was wearing very casual clothes). Had a very nice feeling without having that feeling of being underdressed. Waiter was very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Food came out at a decent pace, and was amazing. Bathrooms were nicely themed, kept clean, and had plenty of stalls and sinks.

Hearty and yummy. The bread and olive oil dip that came with dining in was tasty. I think I had one too many and by the time I got to my pasta, I was too full. The calamari/seafood appetizer was good but could honestly pass on it. My seafood pasta was tasty and very hearty. Just come hungry.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Great place to take a loved one and even those you don't care about because the food is that good! I had the beef lasagna, and my date had the pene pasta. Started with the portobello mushroom, tasty breads, olive dip and a Ceasar salad. Drinks are stiff, so hydrate.
