The design of ASA is inviting and the food is great. Highly recommend the garlic shrimp as an appetizer. They were perfectly cooked, but are also very heavy on the garlic side. It balances out well with the table bread. I went with the pasta of the day for the entree, which was a crab spaghetti. The sauce was rich and the crab was very flavorful. To finish, we shared the dessert options with the table. The molten chocolate cake is a must and the cookies have a great texture. You can bring your own wine or choose from their selection of beer and wine. Service was friendly and professional; we will definitely be returning!

I had an elegant, satisfying and delicious meal complimented by outstanding service at the Los Altos Asa. They have a healthy variety of outdoor heaters, so outside dining is most comfortable. Food is outstanding.

Oh dear… I really had high hopes for this place but sadly it was a huge disappointment.
Let’s start off with the trout dish we ordered.
The trout was very oily and over cooked. The skin was so crisp that it just fell off. The veg and potatoes were decent.
The duck sliders were completely inedible. The duck tasted like it was about to turn. It taste like turning chicken. We threw the whole thing away.
We also ordered the pork chop dish and thankfully the meat was cooked but under-seasoned and the au gratin was undercooked.
Our cesar salad was ok. I appreciated the crispness of the lettuce but that dressing was not a Cesar dressing. It was brown and runny. Not good at all.
Our chocolate chip cookies were borderline burnt and we didn’t get our gelato with them.
The pana cotta was so bad. It was so bland! The cookies crumbles tasted old and smelled old.
I would not recommend eating here. We spent 160$ on this meal and we were are so upset! Do not waste your money folks!

Delicious Spanish inspired dinner - almost like a fusion of Spanish classics with modern American elements and presentation. Decent on street parking in Los Altos after 8:30pm. We ordered a number of seafood starters, good cocktails, and finished with a few entrees we split. It was a celebration type meal so we went all out! Fun evening and great service. Will definitely be back!

Delicious appetizers, delectable entrees. always very efficient/friendly busser and pleasant courteous food servers. We’ve been here twice, there’s consistency in ‘I’m doing you a favor’ attitude and unfriendliness from hostess and servers. Other than the feeling of being unwelcome from a couple of staff, we had a good time with friends.

Good service. Nice vibe. Our server was extremely friendly and humorous. Terrible food. Ordered medium steak but got a well done one. Plus all the food was way too salty to eat. Perhaps I was just unlucky that the chef sprayed too much salt on my food to poison me. Definitely won’t visit again.

Ordered take out from ASA tonight. I had the ribs, which were juicy and fall-off-the-bone tender. A huge portion I couldn't finish now but will have later. I tasted the duck, which was perfectly prepared with just a touch of pink in the center. The carbonara was very decadent, and although the portion seemed smaller only half was finished. I didn't really see the steak - by the time I looked up it was gone - so I guess it was good too. All in all great to skip the dishes tonight and have some very special entrees.
Mar 19, 2021. ASA open for inside dining!

Overall was underwhelmed by ASA but there were several highlights from the menu. To start the Spaniard cocktail was a fun spin on the dirty martini and showed their creativity.
The appetizers were the best part of the meal and worth coming back for them. The oysters were fresh, briny and we had to order another round. The iberico jamon reminded me of the markets in Barcelona.
We had the wedge and beet salad and of the two the beet was better. The apples provided nice texture and the dressing added acidity.
The entree's were the biggest disappointment. The paella was an interesting spin that did not work for us, the rice was made into crispy cakes and just did not do it for us. The scallops were pretty small for only have three and the risotto was pretty bland. Would not order either again.
