Worst Tex-Mex food ever!! Everything about this place is very unsatisfying. They don’t even carry aguas frescas!! Only fountain sodas! The wait time was ridiculous, and we were the only people inside. 30-45 minutes waiting only to find out that my food came out cold. Previous reviews state that it looks like microwaved food & they were not lying! DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR 4.5 STAR RATINGS!!

Everything was just "ok". Sour Cream served in packages. Seems as if they were saving or preserving their supplies. My food was diced in small pieces, and I asked for slices 👀. No communication, you have to wait to be seated, but no one tells you that you have to walk to the register at the close of the meal. We were a bit confused on how they operate. For a simple. Nachos no cheese, only meat with sauteed bell peppers and grilled onions, it seemsed to be a BIG DEAL 👀🤔🙄😐😶😕.

There's The Beef!. JG score of 7/10 from us (+3 for food, +2 for atmosphere, +1 for price, -1 for only Diet Pepsi, 0 for service, +2 for we will return)<br/>This was the best visit out we have had in a while.<br/>This is a Tex-Mex venue.<br/>We read recent reviews only from the past 2 years. They seemed to point out the tacos or burritos or chile relleno. The chips were either liked or singled out as too spicy.<br/>We loved everything here but for the queso which was just like cheese soup.<br/>The beef is the key here we determined and the common denominator in all the liked reviews. The beef tacos were our favorite taco. They reminded us of Dairy Queen type tacos but better= as if someone gave the Dairy Queen taco to this Hispanic family who runs this place and said, "Make this better"....and they went and did it. The flavor of the ground beef was delicious....We also got a beef chile relleno and the beef was similar and it was delicious. We are not chile relleno experts but we have had a few and this was the best so far we have had. Rice and beans and chips were all well above average. The hot sauce was delicious and needs the zip to it for optimum flavor.....Overall, a delicious meal. <br/>The setting was classic too. This place looked to us to be an old Dairy Queen with the placement of everything inside and the classic inner architecture. We asked the family who runs it and they confirmed it was a DQ once (not a converted gas station as someone incorrectly wrote). They have decorated the place all over with Mexican stuff. It was packed when we went in= every table full and interesting only one Hispanic person in the whole place. It was filled with blue and white collar people dressed in anything from suits to shirts and slacks to coveralls and even a cop.<br/>Interesting coincidence this is an old DQ and the beef tacos reminded us of DQ....hmmmmmm.<br/>The price was good and under $15 for a meal and drink and all the chips and hot sauce. The portions were huge too.<br/>Alas, the only fault was no diet drinks at all. Well, they do have diet pepsi but we don't acknowledge that as a drink. We had their tea which even unsweetened was very tasty. It was Community brand tea.<br/>The service was friendly but they were busy. Too busy to talk but they did check on us regularly.<br/>We will we go back for sure and get some more of those tacos and try a burrito next time.
