Georgia Boys Bbq

Some of the best BBQ I have ever from outside of the southern US. This is a mostly dry rub style place and you can add as little or much of their amazing sauce as you want (and the way it should be). The ribs were perfectly done, moist and fall off the bone that were seasoned nicely that compliments the meat and doesn't overpower the slow, smokey good cooking. Sides were just as delicious too with potato salad (GF), that wasn’t a traditional southern style I ever had before but still good, and the baked beans were thick and heavy with a lot of meat thrown in. Great BBQ and just a good restaurant, that's clean and friendly, that I always recommend to friends and colleagues. Oct 2020

Be aware of hidden fees! 😖 We understand the need to raise prices, however menus prices should always be updated. Nothing was noted anywhere to additional fees until you get your receipt, at the bottom, in tiny print. THIS IS DECEITFUL! Their reason for the additional 4% fee? Sure, maybe legit... to help pay the servers & pay their benefits. Customers are now expected to help pay the staff & their benefits... on top of tipping them. Possibly acceptable. But NOT when it's hidden until after you've ordered & eaten. If it is for "good reasons" & there's nothing "to hide", then why not post this information up front for customers to approve to ahead of time? We went on Father's Day. They said wait time was 30 minutes to be seated but we waited 50 minutes. Once seated, the waitress informed us it would be another 40 minutes for our food because they were taking phone orders & were backed up. Really would've been nice to know the total wait time was 1 1/2 hrs when we first arrived. Really POOR communication all around. Food was eh, it was okay.

Recommended by friends, food was great. We had the brisket, pulled pork and chicken and the meats were tender and great. The seasoned fries were really the best I've had and the sweet potato casserole was top notch. There is a nice outdoor dining area and indoor with sports on big screens. Our waitress was very nice! Would highly recommend!

Delicious BBQ. Love all the sauce options on the table. Friendly staff. Their smoked wings are delicious but for $2.50 per wing they are way too small. I would love to have them again but can't justify the cost for what you get. I feel like these are priced NOT to sell. Other food options were reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try Georgia Boys since they were a tiny place in Superior a few years ago. Never had a chance then, but happy to report they did not disappoint! The chicken, pork, ribs and hot links were all smoked to delicious perfection. The sides are all good, but my favorite was the sweet potato casserole. I highly recommend Georgia Boys for its incredibly flavorful and juicy offerings. You can add your favorite sauces to your liking. Unfortunately/fortunately, it was so good, I forgot to take pictures.

Georgia Boys is a restaurant, with good food and an inviting staff. Now that thats out of the way the way lets get to meat. The owner has raised prices multiple times in the last few quarters of business and is now attempting to guilt trip customers into covering the cost of their business by using their employees benefits as a hostage. Its not a service fee its just a blatant attempt to raise prices again and i doubt the owner would be willing to drop any of their take home for their employees so they pushed it on us instead.
