Been dying to check out this place and it did not disappoint! Everything from interior design/atmosphere to menu screamed authenticity. The pisco sour is a must try. Empanada had an amazing texture to the crust. The inkan style Lomo was stout and delicious. My Peruvian friend nearly shed a tear over the ceviche. The only ceviche that can beat his dad's (please don't tell him). Definitely coming back
The food is delicious and authentic, at least I haven't tested anything like this in other Latin American restaurants. I recommend trying one of their ceviches, they have 6 or 7 of them to choose from. The location is very convenient just near a subway station on LIC. The room is spacious by New York standards. Prices are reasonable by the same standards, we paid $70 for a dinner for two before tips. I plan to come here again to try other dishes.
I had the calamari and the basil pasta. Delicious! Compliments to the chef and staff
I've lived in the neighborhood for a long time so I'm surprised that I didn't try out this little Peruvian restaurant before. I think they relatively recently bought up the adjacent space that includes outdoor seating. Either way, the food is great as was the friendly service. You get a very good amount of food for what you pay for (1/2 chicken with 2 sides was $19 and there was a decent amount remaining for delicious leftovers). I highly recommend getting the green sauce (although note that it costs $4 extra) and putting it on everything. Was a bit surprised to see that there's an additional 4% charge if you're paying by credit card which was unavoidable (who carries cash these days?). That aside, I'll still be coming back here for a bite, especially to sit outside when the weather warms up.
A cozy space with amazing food! Great energy and an extremely friendly staff. The Ceviches are a must try, the best I've ever had. They've also got a nice outdoor sitting area. I'll definitely be back❤️
The Inakan is good - nice little restaurant that’s tucked away from a busy street. The food was good but nothing really stood out. Definitely need to come back to try out some more options. Their pisco sours were great but they charged me an incorrect price while happy hour was going on. Good spot if there’s something specific you’re looking for.
Wonderful food, great service, and nice vibe. My Daughter and I went for lunch and enjoyed the experience very much. The fried yuca was heavenly and the rice and beans were excellent.
Delicious food! DELICIOUS. Beautiful atmosphere & setting. i had the best margarita of my life there yesterday lol. I 100% recommend this place. the green rice is amazing it was my first time trying. the waitresses are very sweet. highly recommended
Great food, great service and good vibe. I would give a 4.1 overall
Tasty food and good beer. Nice back patio. Kind service.
I’ve been here a few times and tried various items on the menu so I felt it was time for a review. Everything I’ve tried is delicious, fresh, authentic, and the prices are reasonable! It’s in a great location (2 min walk from train) and the restaurant is very clean. The patio is nice for warm weather. The service was good and the owner is friendly and attentive!
I ordered the Palta Rellena and the Ceviche LIC. The ceviche has squid ink which makes the ceviche black lol but its delicious!!! I highly recommend! The lomo saltado with green rice is also my favorite. Don’t leave without trying the Alfajores! They are freshly made. As a Peruvian foodie, I highly recommend The Inkan!
It was a great experience here. The food was really good. The 1/4 chicken was perfect. It was soft and juicy enough. Loved it. The mashed potatoes were great. I also ordered fried plantains but they were a little bland. Overall I had a great time here. Food was amazing.
Excellent south American cozy restaurant. Service was superb as they suggested and prepared a few dishes without meat. Very close to MTA.
Situated in a nice neighborhood, and 1 block away from the subway. Lovely Spanish music that allows conversations to flow naturally and pleasant atmosphere. Covered outside seating area with string lights for a backyard "home" feeling. The hosts are friendly, accommodating and give great recommendations. Authentic Peruvian flavors that make your taste buds dance. Small gem to be visited. Enjoy!
Great food, and good service! The cilantro seafood fried rice is great. And the empanada is a bit dry but as I gave the feedback they canceled the item.
The service was impeccable! She was very attentive even though we could see she was really busy. The food was great, but I wish the ceviche leche de tigre had more lime - it felt too milky for me. Otherwise, drinks were great as well!
