Very tasty Indian food. I feel just like a Home very important thing. It’s very reasonable as per New York food prices quantity and quality both are justified. I take nine dollar combo one veg one chicken nan & rice this beautiful thali just in nine dollar. I really enjoyed the food after long time if you are staying in Queen’s area then you definitely visit once in Raj kitchen.
It was an wonderful experience with Raj’s restaurant in Queens, New York City. An authentic Indian cuisines with clean environment and highly professional.
Great staff and service. Very friendly. Amazing food. Large quantities for take out. Highly recommended
The food is really good for a very good price and the portion is very large. The butter chicken is to die for. We ordered vegetable samosa, onion bhajiyas, butter chicken, lamb biryani, mali kofta curry, garlic naan, and mango lassi Everything was so good, but in my opinion, the butter chicken and lamb biryani were a smash hit. The mango lassi was standard and always a good choice of beverage. The onion bhajiyas were so crunchy as well. I usually order this to go, and it's so good as a leftover. There is very limited seating, and there isn't as much staff for dining in, so it is slower. Definitely would order out again instead of dining in. I will say the staff and owner are SO KIND and a great man.
Service was quick and the staff were so nice and attentive. The space was also quiet and clean at the time my group went. Ordered the fish curry, chili chicken, tandoori chicken, and the samosas. Everything was hot and delicious and my favorite out of the entrees was the tandoori chicken. Rice came with the curry but we had to order another bowl of rice, which was not an issue.
The food was so flavorful. Everything we order was so so good and the chicken was so tender! I would say everything is reasonably price for the serving size! Also it really worth it to share with friends if you order a ot! Garlic Naan and Butter chicken combo is literally superior! Best combo ever so so good! Also the chicken tikka masala was so delicious aswell!
Really great spot for lunch or dinner. The goat biryani has a good amount of meat in it and the rice is really nicely seasoned. The medium spicy level was perfect 👍🏼 and wasn’t over spicy. Also tried the chicken biryani on a separate occasion and same good rice but the chicken was a little on the dry side
Was looking for the hole in the wall Indian take out on QPN and found this instead.
Ordered from their website for pickup and food was ready on the dot. We especially liked the butter chicken and pak paneer. Mains come with roti or rice but we ordered extra naan which was a smart move since the mains portions are substantial.
Everything was piping hot, well packed.
Not sure why the other reviewers complained about the location on Google Maps. It is exactly where the map says it is. Very large shopfront so easy to find. Easy parking for pick up too. Better than being on QPN.
Delicious and fresh Indian food! Got the tofu Tikka Masala, Naan and this appetizer with puffed rice. Everything was so flavorful and filling. I would highly recommend this place if you want great quality Indian food for an affordable price.
I really enjoyed the vegetables samosas but when I got the curry chicken the chicken was dry even in the sauce. The food was priced well. The atmosphere felt weird as it was dead silent except for the people making food in the back. Will go back for the samosas.
