Overall great. Food came out fast and was great. Tried the cheese fries for the first time they were good. Burger as usual was great and so was the strawberry shake. The place is clean and service was on point.

Updated 9/17/23: Stopped by for the BOGO shake deal and late lunch. The app was not working and they would not honor the deal on the app. So much for great customer service.... Dropped down to 4 stars. You also don't get much for the price you pay. In n out is right across the street... Better price for another good burger. Original Post: Great customer service. I ordered online, but when I got there they didn't have my order ready but then I noticed the order was still processing on my phone because I must have lost cell service. The server was very apologetic even though it was not her fault, and she made it a point to try to expedite my order as soon as it went through. I ordered the shake burger lettuce wrap. It had good flavor

There aren't that many options for Shakes, unlike Ruby's which has at least a dozen ... this place has about 5 flavors only (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, oreo and a chocolate mix). Service was super amazing though!! Patio is nice too.

Shake Shack has excellent burgers. The meat is high-quality. If you want to nitpick, the patties are a bit on the smallish size, and the veggies are a tad sparse. I had the "stack," which is basically a fried portobello mushroom on top of a beef patty. The combination was awesome! I also had a vanilla shake, and it was superb. The custard is made from real eggs, and you can definitely taste that.

There seems to always be a big queue on to the highway for this place. We lucked out for breakfast and managed to get car parking about 8am. I struggled with hearing the server behind the Perspex. The breakfast came to 65$ for 2 adults and 2 kids. It arrived with smaller portions that expected and cold but tasty. On a plus not the view was nice.

I have heard so many good things about this place and was pleasantly surprised to find out it lives up to the hype. The burgers and shakes are the real deal. Just wish I lived closer!

Legendary. 2x better than in n out in terms of quality, but also 2x more expensive. Got the double smoked shack burger with bacon and spicy cheese fries and a passion fruit drink. Definitely worth the 35 minute drive from Irvine to long beach.

Perched on a cliff overlooking Crystal Cove along Hwy 1 Pacific Coast Highway is this little Burger Shack, Shake Shack (not the franchise from the east coast). Here you’ll find tasty California style burgers (not dissimilar from In n’out), sandwiches, fries, and custom ice cream shakes. All served up with a pretty spectacular view of the cove and the Pacific Ocean. The parking lot is tiny and the line to park can back up along PCH on a good day. My suggestion would be to incorporate a lunch or sunset dinner here into a day at crystal cove once you’ve paid to be in the state park after a walk on the trails or the beach. There is a stair way that comes up to shake shack from the crystal cove cottage/beachcomber area.
