What an amazing experience. Real and delicious sushi. Their Omakase is certainly special and won't disappoint you. Probably my new favorite sushi restaurant in the world. The flavors, the quality and the quantity is top notch. Will come back in a heartbeat to celebrate a special occasion. My only complaint is the chopsticks could have better quality.

Nice, safe, omakase sushi course. Covers all the typical selections well. Good cuts and excellent rice. Adequate selection of beer, sake and shochu. Not cheap, not crazy expensive. This is a traditional sushi bar so don't expect mayo or hot sauce or fusion rolls. Nihon-teki ambiance.

Absolutely fresh, excellent quality sushi. My Japanese husband and I eat all over the South Bay, and have probably been to almost every Sushi place there is between Long Beach and Manhattan Beach, as well as countless places in Japan. Tucked away in a strip mall in Lomita, you'll miss this place if you don't know to look for it. Make it a point to look for it, and make reservations if you can, but they'll try their best to fit you in if you don't. The sushi is incredibly fresh, and seasonal, and dishes are made with care. This is where locals who know and appreciate real Japanese food (sushi) go. If you can't decide on one thing and want to get an idea of how fresh and lovely their sushi is, try the Chirashi. Looking forward to a makase meal sometime soon as a treat, I'll update then.

After reopening under the same name new chef is awesome. Much friendlier to the patrons and definitely stepped up to the challenge of keeping the reputation of Miura high. Looking forward to many returns. Almost reluctant to post but his efforts should be rewarded with a successful restaurant.

Authentic Japanese restaurant. The Omakase is pricey but worth every penny.
