Dunkin' Donuts

My experience is different every time at this dunkin which is unpleasant. There is no consistency in the way drinks are made or how service is given. Sometimes great, sometimes horrible. When the manager lies to your face saying they stopped serving frozen mocha coffees when we ordered one literally the day before just to not remake our drink. Money doesn't grow on trees, get it together, make your customers happy.

This is your typical DD. This was my second visit and this time, mid afternoon on Thursday, there was a more complete selection of everything. The staff was mildly friendly. Covid dividers were at the counter. Seating is now allowed, although there is only three tables, each seating for two. The entrance is raised but there's a ramp for the handicap as well as one handicap parking spot. Good cleanliness.

So I’m allergic to coffee. I know. But I always get either a chai tea or matcha tea. One time they gave me coffee when I ordered a chai through the mobile app and said that they discontinued their chai… they did not.. you can still order it, it’s all the same. (Either way, if you ‘discontinued’ something, you don’t just fill the order with whatever you think the customer would want without asking them.) Now I ordered matcha with oatmilk (I just don’t drink milk like that), and they gave me coffee again. This time I at least got a refund, but the guy made my order incorrectly again and I ended up with 2 drinks that were both still incorrect. I even asked if it was with oatmilk at least and it wasn’t sooo I at least got a refund, but still no caffeine for the day 😭. I normally don’t care about things like that, but if it’s an allergy? Come on now.

Dunking donuts isn't what it use to be. When I was a child I could walk into my local Dunkin donuts and see them making the donuts and they actually walked up to your table to serve you. Dunkin donuts gets their donuts done at a warehouse now and they deliver the donuts to each store. To me that's not fresh at all.... I still go there tho...lol
