Pietro's Italian Restaurant

After many years of driving by, my son and I decided to finally pull into the parking lot and try this place out. Let me get to the point: This place is amazingly yummy. For starters, we had the calamari. It was just... yummy. Can't really describe it. The breading was perfectly crunchy and not too much. My son had the lasagna, which he said tasted fresh and good. I had the special fish of the day - halibut - over risotto. The dish was amazing and paired well with my chardonnay. I will definitely come back!

Such a Beautiful restaurant!! Service was great. Food , homemade raviolis for me, was AWESOME. You could just go for lunch or a romantic evening. They have a garden decorating the outside with vegetables they actually use for their meals. Beautiful outside seating with a water fountain. Prices are amazingly reasonable. Cool alcoholic drink options. DEFINITELY going back

Decent but not compelling. Celebrating a friend's birthday and we went to Pietro's. The service was slow.. as several diners came in after us received their drink and food orders well before us. We probably waited 30 minutes for our wine after ordering before it showed up, and we came in early, around 5:30. The food was ok. My pasta, which sounded incredible as described was meh. It was a ravioli but the exterior wasn't fully cooked - not al dente, just undercooked. The meat sauce was good, but nothing award winning. My wife's grilled chicken was "just ok" - nothing bad, but a bit boring. There's gotta be better Italian food in Lodi than this!
