The Ginny Lee Cafe At Wagner Vineyards

Walked in Saturday for lunch, we were quickly greeted and seated. All servers were young people but very nice and friendly. The view was amazing and the set up was good. The food was surprisingly solid. We had calamari which was okay. The French onion soup was very solid and good portion, not too small and not too much. We enjoyed the fish sandwich and also the classic burger; both portions were generous. The food was all prepared fresh and served hot, which was great! We look forward returning!

While going to Wagner Vineyards, we first went for lunch where my wife sampled a red wine flight. For lunch, we had potato skins. Following that, I had a cheeseburger, while my wife had a sandwich of sorts called The Vegetarian with grilled chicken added to it. The foods we chose were all good. As for the flight, my wife found a good wine she would go on to purchase at next door's Wagner Vineyards. Our server was nice. The place was very busy. I would say they could use more help, but like many other restaurants, they seem to be having a hard time finding enough people that want or are willing to work. The view from the deck outside where we dined, provided a pretty view as a backdrop...

Location is awesome! Beautiful deck overlooking the Vinyard and Seneca Lake. My choice for lunch may have been very basic, a grilled chicken breast supposedly marinated in in a white balsamic wine glaze. It was not marinated and just had balsamic glaze drizzled on. To be honest it tasted like balsamic glaze you can buy in a grocery store. It was good, just not quite what I expected. Between the glaze and aoili it made it a bit messy. I did appreciate the onion, tomato and lettuce were on the side. The Reisling Select was lovely. The service was very good. And again the location was spectacular! I would come again, just pick something different.

Absolutely visit the Ginny Lee Cafe for lunch on the patio. The views of Lake Seneca are spectacular. The food and service are great. It is always a sweet surprise to visit with Ginny Lee, the namesake for the restaurant. She's hard working, ensuring that everything at the Cafe is perfect. Be sure to have some wine with your meal! The servers can recommend a great pairing with your meal. They also have gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings and other formal events.

This was our first visit to the other side of Seneca Lake. We were very hungry but didn't know anything about the local wineries and restaurants. Therefore, we decided to stay here, and never regretted it. First, I was surprised by the very good service. We were treated like important guests. Secondly, the food and wine were excellent - from the presentation to the taste. Third, the prices are very good. And fourthly, we were told in detail about the different types of wines, and we bought several bottles of wine, which we then drank with friends. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

Ginny Lee Cafe is located at the Wagner Winery. For lunch I ordered The apple cardaney which was crisp cold and had a slight taste of blended peach. The strawberry salad was a nice sized salad and consisted of toasted pecans cherry tomatoes feta cheese onion all mixed in with fresh lettuce greens. The salad dressing was homemade raspberry vinegar. Delicious. My husband entree was the grilled chicken wrap. The entree came with homemade chips. Delicious

Wow! That was an easy 5-star all the way review. From start to finish, it was the perfect experience. I was solo on this event, and the hostess was warm and welcoming the moment I walked in. She accommodated my request to sit outside, and although a bit windy, this time of year was a breathtaking view! My server, Mr. Damyan was superb and immediately offered suggestions, which I am glad I listened to. Their smoky ketcup was unique and delicious. I tried their French onion soup and Smokey Burger, and both were amazing. I am on a keto diet, so the photos show no bread/carbs, but I can only imagine the Keiser bun they normally serve it on is great. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I can't say enough. This place is a must. Honestly, when leaving, I was smiling ear to ear, and I really won't forget it. A++
