Sonic Drive-in

TERRIBLE!!! Ordered via app. Got there, waited, waited. After 15 min. Pushed red button, many times, after 5 min. Someone finally answered. Stated order was on it's way. Ten minutes later, still waiting, pushed button many times, no answer... IF WE HAD NOT PAID WITH APP, WE WOULD'VE LEFT!! Almost 40 minutes, finally received order, no offer from manager to compensate for lost time. They actually owe me about $25. For diesle my truck burned while sitting in 102 degree heat. Could've died of thirst at that point. Not the first time with issues at this location. But the last!!!! Manager should be fired and location shut down. Bad for Sonic reputation. Cars were driving off, without food. Guess they didn't pay in advance. Never go there...

Update 06-10-22. I'm not sure what to say. This Sonic has really bad customer service and it hasnt improved in 4 years. They consistently give us the wrong food and it is cold most of the time. Went at 7:15 this morning. Online says open at 7. I was only car. Would not answer. I finally left. Delivery truck was there so somebody was around.

Update 5/13/22: Visited recently for a couple Big Dill Cheeseburgers. It was a Friday afternoon, so a moderate wait is understandable. The food was good. No real complaints this time around. I can bump this up to a 4. Old Review: Sometimes the stars align for a perfect storm of bad first impressions. Maybe it was an off day. I'll have to go back for a second evaluation. The food was wonderful though and the staff were very polite. Everything else went wrong.

went there the other day & basically my whole order was wrong. ordered a double bacon with an extra patty & jalapeños no extra patty no jalapeños and one slice of bacon. i got charged for the extra patty & jalapeños. also ordered a number one no onions add mustard no mustard and they forgot the ketchup that comes on it already! fries,tots & pickle fries were old and nasty only thing edible out of all of it was the ultimate burrito we got. all drinks were supposed to have no ice they only gave us one with no ice & they gave us a cherry sprite when we asked for a regular sprite. when i tried calling the store to tell them about it they didn’t answer. called multiple times. would’ve went back but i was already home when we noticed
