This restaurant is regarded as one of the top 3 in Livingston by the folks I know. I recommend the chicken. The turkey and catfish are good, with the catfish breading being quite salty. The ribs are St. Louis style, they have been trimmed and are very sugary sweet. If you've ever had ribs at Cheddar's, you will find Tennessee BBQ's to have less bulk and more sweetness. If that is too your likes, you'll love these! I had to remove one star since they ran out of banana pudding! Ah, how can I eat all that delicious food and not get the best BBQ dessert? I believe I got the last half chicken, which means someone else probably had to do without. This shows that they either have a lot of people visit, or they are under prepared. The coffee is good, I recommend having it with your meal is you like coffee. If you can pay with cash, they appreciate it. The credit card fees to small businesses add up over time. So consider bringing some with you to pay for your bill. Suggestion to owner: I would like to see you start offering beef brisket.

We were very happy with how are food tasted and the friendly service. We called in advance to pick up a to go order for about 25 people. It was all ready when we got there. We had pulled pork, pulled turkey, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, baked beans, and potato salad. All was good, although I thought the pork was a little dry. Sauces were really good (both sweet and hot). Prices seemed a little high, but overall we like it.
