My friend who lives in Livermore kept raving about this place and this weekend we had a wine tasting trip planned so I finally decided to come try it and let me tell you! This is the best sandwich I have had! We order to go so we could take it to the wine tasting, I had the Tiger Woods and my Bf had the King Kong.

Very tasty sandwiches that will fill you up. Lots of options or customize your own! Large portions so be prepared to take some home. Love the Italian music and atmosphere. Friendly staff who put their heart into this great spot! Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

The Best Sandwiches in the Bay Area But my favorite is the lasagna. The wife loves the salad with chicken breast. Service is always outstanding. Be sure to sign up for their e mail promotions.

The food was delicious. Alexi was our server - very friendly and kind. It was my wife's bday and made it special.

Alexi! First and foremost, thank you so much. Your service was great. Never had us waiting for anything, checked up to be sure things were outstanding and the food, GREAT. Large sandwiches and the pasta was just as tasty! Thank you so much. If you’re reading this, stop thinking about it. Come!

We picked up sandwiches, and they were delicious. I ordered the YAAAS, Queen and savored every bite. All the flavors came together excellently. The pesto was tasty but not overpowering. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten.

We were traveling in California. I stumbled across Americano as a place I wanted to visit. I wasn't sure that we were going to make it in time before they closed - they do close a bit early in my opinion, but luckily we made it. It was busy, so service was a little slow.
What we got:
Chicken Tetrazzini - It was good (not great), nice and cheesy, but I felt like the sauce could have been more flavorful and thicker.
Americano - fantastic flavorful sandwich. This was the win out of our two orders. Sandwiches, while expensive, are worth their value.
I'd recommend Americano if you were in the area, but not a place I'd go out of the way for.

The Californian sandwich was so good I was halfway through eating it before I thought to take a picture. I wish the secret godfather sauce wasn’t a secret….so delicious!! I also had the tetrazzini (their take on a fettuccini Alfredo) which was amazing! Rich with flavor, but not overpowering. Everything came out quickly and HOT, you can tell they take the time to make every meal to order. I will definitely be back for the authentic food and truly inviting atmosphere! Thanks Americano!!!

The food here is top notch. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. The only knock on this restaurant is that they are under staffed and sometimes they are so busy they can’t keep up with clearing tables and getting people in and out. Come here to eat knowing that it may take a little while, but the food is soooooo worth the wait.

I eat sandwiches from Americano once a week. I keep coming back because the staff makes a meaty unit and wraps it tightly creating a juicy and deeply satisfying sandwich in my mouth.
Because of this great staff, excellent ingredients, and soft buns, you should get one of these units in your mouth too.
