Came in one day just to get some bbq, once I walked in the door I realized that i was in a hunters dream. The racks the bucks on their wall had we’re bigger than any Victoria secret model you’ve ever seen, and the beards on the turkeys were more glorious than the Spartan warriors. Not to even mention that the foxes they had stuffed looked more sly than that creepy coworker you used to know. The beer was so cold it felt like it came straight off a magical glacier, and not to mention the food wasn’t bad either. So if you your ever in the area I recommend stopped by and checking out their racks and tossing back a few cold ones. And I had Maura as my server ,she was the BEST server ever �

My husband and I stopped on our way to Savannah. My husband had the babyback ribs and I had the smoked sausage dog w/ peppers and onions. Absolutely amazing! Our server Patience was the best! Super friendly, fast and very capable. I would recommend this BBQ restaurant to anyone that is looking for great food and a wonderful experience. We will come back when traveling through.
Great food. Atmosphere is fantastic with all the deer heads and taxidermy around the ceiling. Our waitress was top notch and reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend it as a must see and go to place in live oak.
Overall the place was great Florida didn't really have any covid policies to speak of so I won't hold that against the restaurant. Patricia was a great server, attentive and knowledgeable. Food was very good and priced right.
This establishment is gorgeous. From the wood doors and hand forged hinges to every wild animal mount inside . It is an excellent setting and the serving sizes are more than generous. Looks like a plantation main house with all of the taxidermy art . Great food .can't wait to go back and sit at the bar. One more thing. Don't mind waiting there because the food is good and the old school carpentry and wood selection is amazing.. smoked turkey.smoked turkey .smoked turkey
Good place, decent food, reasonable prices, wish their staff would wear masks.
Customers not masking is one thing and hard to control, but the staff is in contact with hundreds of people each shift, and-in turn contacts us Customers.
I'm not a super masker, but would like the server to mask up.
Food is quick and amazing! Service is helpful and always able to see when you need things. Attention to detail
I love Big Woods BBQ. The steak is great. Made just perfect. I've also had the grilled shrimp many times. Never had a bad experience.
This is a great BBQ restaurant. I love the atmosphere. The servers are always fast and courteous. The food was excellent. I like creating my own combo with sausage and pulled pork. I love their sweet BBQ sauce. Their ny strip is also very delicious and tastes like someone barbecued it at home. Friday nights seem very busy but we still didn't have too long if a wait.
