I've eaten here 5 times. I get the same thing each time and its constantly good. I like that if I ask for real crab in my California roll they graciously put it in for a little extra money as would be expected.
The place is always busy Early evening when I have been there and qhen I drive by which is another good indication of good food and service.

Flavor was great but the 60 minutes we waited for 4 rolls was too long. We will consider them for Takeout but not for dine in. The atmosphere in the dine in resturaunt was dated and rough.

TL:DR - mediocre sushi, bad service, no A/C in 90+ degree weather
I ordered "premium" sushi that was significantly more expensive than the the cheaper version of the same fish (example: fatty yellowtail vs regular yellowtail). Literally no difference in taste or appearance. The sushi was not great by any means. It's not that the food was bad, I did enjoy it to a certain degree, I've just had so so much better elsewhere. I feel that the five star reviews are coming from people who have not had top grade sushi.
The service was really poor as well. They never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, never asked how the food tasted. It was 90 degrees outside when we came in, and there was no A/C. I had to sit there with sweat dripping from my face throughout my meal. It was uncomfortable.

Got the Unagi Don this evening. So so pleased. Last place went to had 5 small pieces and wasn’t filling at all. This has ton of unagi so worth the price and the fried rice underneath it is fantastic. Quick and prompt service definitely earned a customer in me.

Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with timely, quiet, and attentive service. The food was terrific quality and absolutely delicious!

Overall, this is a nice and simple place to get sushis.
My only critic is that the waiters took a long time to come back to our table when I wanted to order more food, thus I ended up getting dessert instead.
The place was crowded, so I understand that it was hard to take care of all the customers that day.

I moved to Denver in October and came across Sushi Basho thankfully because it is amazing!!! I’ve tried other places since I’ve moved here and nothing compares. The sashimi is always fresh and the variety of sushi rolls are delicious. It is a quaint place with great service and I highly recommend giving them a try because you will not be disappointed!
