Hungry Bear

Nice atmosphere, friendly waitresses and okay food. It's more of a homey place with a homestyle menu. Their online menu is misleading, so make sure to ask what the current special is. They don't offer the all-you-can-eat options as advertised online and the food is underseasoned. I ordered the Papa Burger, medium with an order of fries. The fries were the star on the plate. Crunchy, well cooked, soft middles, these fries were dynamite. The burger was cooked well but everything lacked seasoning. No salt, and everything seemed to have been cooked in the same light, odd-tasting oil. The onions and mushrooms need butter and salt and the burger lacks a sauce. Once I added some table seasonings and some ketchup, it was more palatable. This burger would be magic if a simple sauce was added to it. Might try it again but will be more deliberate with my directions. Maybe next time will be tastier.

A huge gem packed into a tiny package. The food is absolutely amazing. The service is warm and welcoming. I tried the Western omlet and adored every bite. The customers are also very friendly and kind! A great family place or a place to go if youre missing family as they'll treat you like on of their own. I highly recommend the hungry bear!

They sanitize regularly, everyone is helpful, always wearing masks, very friendly, quiet, comfortable place to eat. We go to the Hungry Bear to eat Breakfast, lunch or dinner at least once a week or more. Very good home cooked food and generous perportions especially their Roast Beef dinner 🤗!!
