Review Sebastian's Table - Lincoln

Maybe it was because it was Sunday. Maybe the waitress was new? I'm not sure, but it wasn't at all what I was hoping for. Sat on the patio, which was nice. Started with the duck confit; needs an acid or something to cut the fattiness of the meat and the bread. Otherwise good. Did the $46 6 oz wagyu steak which was cooked well. The steak itself was good and very soft , but the steak fries and tarragon butter both sorely needed salt. Ordered the paella del mar and received the paella del carne. We both made trips inside to try to find our waitress. I found her eventually and she put in the order for the new one. It was good, but definitely not $40 good. The rice and octopus were the best parts tho! Seasoned very well. All the while, the plates are all just piling up on our table as she doesn't remove empty plates, glasses, or beer bottles. Water wasn't refilled either. Ended with the chocolate stone that tasted like it had been frozen a week ago as we are jabbing at it to get it to cut. The waitress said the pastry chef had issues with the shortbread...I will say that the sangria and wine were excellent. They get points for that. As I'm finally finishing my wine after paying, a manager notices the massive pile of plates and offers to clean them off the table. At these prices, you need to train your staff.

We love this place for a more upscale dinner! COVID precautions are taken within the restaurant and there is great outdoor seating as well. Paella, Gouda dip, and chocolate stone were some of our favorites. Looking forward to our next visit.

Outstanding staff and dining experience. I love trying new cuisines, and Sebastian's definitely had much that piqued my interest. Highly recommend to those in the Lincoln area.

What can I say? Sebastian’s Table has always been a place I can reliably go when I want something interesting and beautifully cooked. I was in love from day one on 14th Street, and I’ll still be knocking back sangria, sprouts, and smoked Gouda dip until the day either I or they shut the doors for the last time. (Extra stars for the inventive and unfailingly genuine bartenders!)

This is a gem in east Lincoln! The duck confit on their house made sour dough ($14) is a steal. It’s a huge portion and so delicious. All of the cocktails were balanced and super large for the $8-9. The beets were great but a very small serving, the stuffed peppers are a can’t miss, and the desserts are pricy but completely delicious. You can make reservations which makes me want to go here instead of some of the cattle call vibes at other local restaurants. I’ll definitely go back!

The food was absolutely top notch. The tapas are mouth-wateringly tasty, especially the bread and tomatoes (like chunky marinara, but better). I had the lamb shank, and I can affirm as a dedicated lamb fan, that was some of the best-cooked lamb I've ever had. They served it with a knife and fork, but it was so fall-off-the-bone tender I probably could have used a spoon instead. I'll be back, and I hope to see you there, as well!

Every bite is so delicious and just a little bit different than the last. Definitely try a few different small plates to share and the paella is perfect to fill up 2-3 people! Service and atmosphere were excellent as well. If you are going on the weekend for supper, I would recommend a reservation. A must-try in Lincoln, truly one of a kind for this city!

We had five dishes, all were wonderful! The best might have been the mushrooms and pork belly, yum. The lobster risotto was kind of salty but that didn't stop us from devouring every bit. We will definitely be back to try a whole new set of bites (while avoiding the pickled radishes, luckily it's only a garnish.) Great service too.

Incredible food! It's like the Fleming's of Lincoln, Ne. The sauce and flavor combinations have such a depth that makes each dish exciting. We were practically fighting over the brussel sprouts!

Pretty good. I think the prices are a tad bit high and the portions are a tad bit large. Take it down a bit in both places and, ah, marvelous! Then you could order more small dishes with your wine or beer.

Whatever good things you have heard about Sebastian's Table don't do it justice. The food is amazing! The brussel sprouts were a sweet/savory flavor combined with a delicate crispy leaf. Sublime. The beef skewer was incredible -- tender meat with chimichurri/romesco sauces you want to lap off the plate. All this AND locally sourced food!

Absolutely loved our dinner last night at Sebastian's Table. Ordered an appetizer and 2 tapas (Cheese plate, spicy green beans and chicken/chorizo risotto). We decided to try one more tapas and chose the Hazelnut Brussel Sprouts (loved them!). I have never ever smiled so much about dinner before. Thank you for good food, good atmosphere and good service. We will definitely be back with friends!

This place is fantastic. Food is amazing and it's my favorite sangria in town!!

Seafood chowder was awesome, as were the apple/beet salad and chick pea salad. Usually salads like these are haphazardly thrown together and these actually tasted and looked liked someone actually cared. All the apples, beets and feta were uniform in dice size. The walnuts or hazelnuts were toasted ( not burned) and they were crushed to the right consistency to add flavor *and* texture. 5 stars is for the tres leches cake. Simply the best and most well balanced dessert I've ever had. Alex's service was friendly and prompt. Not expecting this kind of experience on a Wednesday lunch so mind. Is. Blown. Cheers!

My girlfriend and I went here last Thursday! It was amazing. We tried Duck Confit and loved it. Plus I found out i like sangrias! We had brusselsprouts with hazelnuts as well. It was so worth the 40 dollars for 2 drinks and the wonderful food and service! Defintely

Seriously amazing. Every bite was ridiculously delicious and the flavor combinations are spot on. What a great restaurant.

Been here twice now. The olives remind me of the olives I had in Spain a couple of years ago. The spinach/gouda dip is absolutely top notch-very, very full flavored and creamy. The palella and duck comfit are more than worth a try. And it's all made right there as you order it so it's fresh. I'll have to keep going back to sample the rest of the menu.

Finally got the chance to go, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole experience was very good. I loved getting to try so many different items, as well as things I hadn't had before.

LOVE this place. One of the few truly exceptional places to experience for Lincoln restaurants.
