Wasn't expecting much after seeing some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The menu is nothing earth shattering, just standard pub fare, but everything came out hot, at the same time, and well presented. We went for the ultimate chicken burger and the vegan fried cauliflower. Both decent sized meals and good value for money.

Food arrived hot and well cooked, there was 8 of us eating and drinking, the bill was just in excess of £140 which we thought was very good. The service was excellent, I’d like to mention Jack in particular as he was very courteous ,professional and welcoming so all in all a very nice evening out. Thank you.

Delicious food at great value prices. The new menu had some really good desserts. Especially liked the sticky toffee pudding and the sherry trifle cheese cake - scrumdeliumptious!

Visited last night for a 78th birthday meal, large group of us, everything spot on. Nothing was too much to ask for, all food arrived hot and at the same time. Everyone commented on how nice the food was. They even provided a birthday cake and all the staff came over and sang happy birthday. Which was very nice of them and much appreciated. Will certainly be revisiting.

Booked a table of 14 for Dads birthday. Staff were very helpful and the food was lovely and hot. The staff were kind enough to provide a cake and a birthday card for Dad. We all had a great evening and nothing was too much trouble.

Under new management and massive improvement to previous owners. Staff really nice and manager was top class, looked after us and catered for a table of 14 with no issues whatsoever, even arranging a cake for my Grandad’s birthday. Couldn’t be more appreciative. Thanks again 🤝

Ive been going to The Lincolnshire Poacher for many years now and always had a friendly welcome whilst having a quick pint after work to having food with the family. The manager James and the whole team really do make you feel like it is a local pub. Nothing is ever too much and the food is above “pub grub”. I will always consider the poachers as “the local”. 10/10. They pull a good pint also!

Four friends got together for lunch. We had a lovely time. Food was excellent, as was the service. Love that we got our requested window seat.
Staff were very attentive and their lovely smiles made our visit even more enjoyable.

We received a warm welcome. The Staff were happy and positive, our special needs Son felt completely calm and, as each family group arrived they too were welcomed.
The Service was wonderful. We appreciated the pre-order offer extended to us and thought it was a great idea - in our circumstances - as our son is not good at waiting.

Organised baby shower here today , waitresses was absolutely amazing ,the food was just amazing, well done to the chef. I had missed two orders of my email , but this did not faze or annoy any one stuff was so pleasant got meals out quick.
