Stumbled upon this place today while looking for a change of scenery to work in and just love it! Nice people, comfy seating and good tea! The perfect place to work for a few hours and shake off the cobwebs.
I love this place. So homey and comfortable inside. Great coffee....mischievous latte flavor of the day...Tagalong....so delicious! My new favorite coffee place!
Came for a coffee on my journey to visit many of the local coffee shops within an hour or so of where I live. The coffee was good and there were two, very nice women, behind the counter. However, the store was really messy (seemed like they may have been packing up shop and closing permanently, which I hope isn't the case) and the tables were a little dirty. There also were not a lot of options available for food behind the glass, which was a bummer.
Overall, the vibe here was cool and I was able to get a lot of work done. Reliable internet, good coffee, and a warm fireplace to sit by. Hopefully, it doesn't go away... All it needs is a little bit of love.
Edit: They were literally closing up shop on the day of this review. What a shame, not a whole lot of local coffee shops left.
The coffee is always fresh and good! And i love their breakfast sandwiches! Egg and cheese, or with optional sausage or thin sliced ham! The place is good for sit down too, games, puzzles, art work and other handmade goods all around..and they have a fish tank now! So pretty!
Update: they closed several months ago....too bad to see them gone ...that was my go to next door to the Metra station for coffee and occasional breakfast sandwich....
UPDATE: they closed that location recently....idk why, but there is another location i saw on Washington, in a little strip mall right by that entrance to College of Lake County......
Quite and nice place to relax. Good coffee and great ambience.
Very cozy place right next to the train station. I've had many meetings here and used it as a mobile office between meetings in the area. They have sandwiches in addition to coffee which some people don't know.
Great Tea & Coffee , I had the Berry Chai Very Unique and Delicious Very Hospitable They even have a fireplace :D
Great food. Fabulous service. Fun homey atmosphere. Love that this is a family owned business.
Nice cozy atmosphere, light breakfast great lunch. Board games and overall just very cozy
The workers there are extremely nice and there coffee is better and the price of the coffee is half of what Starbucks charges.
My favorite local coffee shop! Always friendly staff, warm and inviting spaces.
IT'S A VERY NICE PLACE TO SPEND WITH MY LONG LOST NONE GRADE SCHOOL CHUM ALLEN MARKS AND ME MARLA TO SPENT TIME WITH EACH OTHER,AND ITS A GREAT PLACE TOO.
