The staff is very friendly and the food is great for the price we pay. The place is always clean. I love the little gift shop in the front. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Go on Friday, some of the best catfish I've ever had!! Great service and fantastic food! And the purpose behind it makes it worth even more. It's worth the drive! And the gift is really awesome too! Two thumbs way up!!!

Bread of Life Cafe is a restaurant that my family and I look forward to stopping & eating at on our annual 127 Yard Sale Trip (World's Longest Yard Sale). The food, atmosphere & service are the best you will find! Even better than anything here is the history behind this restaurant, the owners, their humanitarianism & their community. They have plenty of parking even for large events such as the WLYS, buffet is offered as well as a menu offering (I wish I would have taken pics of menu but I was so ready to dig in to the deliciousness; menu is online at breadoflifecafe.org). Everything on both the buffet & menu is excellent, make sure to get a roll & the fried chicken (trust me you'll go back for more)! There is not enough that I can say about the whole experience here, I could go on & on. If you ever find yourself in Liberty KY, you MUST do yourself a favor & stop here! Eat, relax, shop & be sure to visit the wall of history in the dining area. One of the best places & people in this country!
My wife’s coworker told her how great this restaurant was, so we made the hour pilgrimage.
The place is super clean and we arrived at noon on a Saturday. A wait time off about fifteen minutes and so we browsed the store.
We were sat at our table and we noticed that as busy as they were, everything was clean like they had just opened the doors.
Our waitress was nice, but curt, which we understood as busy as they were. We both got the buffet.
All the food was fresh, but my favorite thing is that it didn’t taste like it had been dragged through some salt mine. For $10.99, the buffet is hard to beat.
That said, even though the food was fresh and tasted good, the flavor was very subdued. That is just a personal taste thing.
Summary: Clean. Fresh. Friendly. Good food. Good price.
They had a hot food bar and a salad bar. The food was absolutely delicious. Good home cooking, fried chicken, pork, fried catfish with the most wonderful sides. The roll were to die for. While there, you must try the orange juice cake on the food bar....it was fabulous. We will be going back on our next visit.🙂
It's a 50 minute drive from north Garrard County but well worth it. Friday's lunch buffet was $10 + the drink. Nice salad bar, nice main buffet, deserts and soup. A good size gift shop as well.
Amazing food! Greatest catfish I've ever had! Staff were also fantastic. Definitely recommend Bread of Life if your in the area.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, I absolutely love all the Decor around. My husband walked in and saw this and told me I needed to get it. She already has her place at our house.
