So far so good. Owner stopped by every table and shook hands, said hello. That in itself is worth 5 stars. Help is very attentive so far.
Ok, finished the meal. I had the taco salad with nachos as appetizer.
First off I've never seen canned cheese used for nachos in a sit down Mexican restaurant. It and the canned beans were not good. 7-11 nachos are better.
The nacho salad was far below par. The first time in my life I didn't eat the bowl.
The wife's food at least had flavor, but it's a very surface flavor and not deep.
Overall I felt that I was eating at a convenience store. I wish I didn't have to say that, everyone working here is friendly and attentive. Unfortunately a restaurant's product is its food, and it's not good at all here. :'(

Very friendly man greeted us upon our arrival. Chips & salsa were good. My partner had the chile relleno he said it was very good. I had the tacos al carbon and they were just ok (little pieces of meat-some very dried out). Beans and rice were good also. Excellent guacamole and good pico as well. The tables and floor were very clean which is important to me. Considering it’s location-it’s a five star.

Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere. Good prices. This little place might be out of the way but, if you're close by or passing through, it's a good place to stop and have a bite. Check em out.

The food is way too expensive for what you're given. You work hard for your money and when you want to have a date night after working 12s, you know you're gonna spend some money. At least make it worth the money
