This location is part of the local chain of Tex-Mex restaurants. The service is friendly and the portions are generous, except for the guacamole. A full serving would typically serve three hungry people or four polite people. Overall it could use more fresh flavors, and a little less salt. The BOGO offers are usually a good buy. This is a smaller restaurant so large groups are somewhat difficult to seat quickly with short notice. During good weather there is a patio for outdoor seating.
I was hesitant to try this place because of the mixed reviews. I love the margaritas on n . Oak so we decided to give it a try. We he been back twice! Excellent service!! The food was pretty good! Not as good as the original margaritas but good enough! I had the grande ensalada and it was great! The man had deep fried tacos that he is in love with! He even said they were better than in a tub! He say if they aren't drippin grease then it's not a good taco! We will be back!
An Alright Option. So the place is no longer 'Xpress', and I never went there when it was to say what is different/better/worse, but my Other Half & I had a quick dinner here and it was pretty good. We had the chicken tacos & the cheese and onion enchiladas, both of which were on special that night. The enchiladas were unremarkable, but we were both pleased with the tacos, and the margaritas were delicious! We'll be back but I don't think we will frequent the place...
YUMMMMMM!. The atmosphere is nice, the service was good, and the food was delicious! I am a HUGE fan of "quick serve" restaurants, where you order at the counter and they bring your food out, so this was right up my alley. Went on Taco Tuesday and have been back every week since. Our meal was fairly priced, the kids loved it, they serve beer.. that's pretty much all you can ask for.
The food was amazing. Their raspberry Margaritas are the best in the city. Our waitress was awesome. She was always right there if we needed anything. Would highly recommend everyone to go. Thanks for the perfect Bday experience.
Had a great lunch. The fajitas were fantastic. The veggies crisp not mushy and steak and shrimp just right. Service was good and price was reasonable. Margaritas blended well and definitely could have had another. Salsa yummy too! Will return.
10/10. This place is AMAZING! Probably the best Mexican I have had! Awesome service, never had to wait for a thing when I asked for it! Definitely coming back!
We had Dominieke as our waitress and she was flawless! I highly recommend her and definitely request to have her!
I just left here. Needed a break from adulthood and decided to stop in. To my surprise this is now my Cheers. What a wholesome group of people and the Margarita was just right. The employees were so nice and all stated how they enjoyed working here and how well they are treated by the owner. This is a locally owned restaurant, very clean, good fresh food, and so welcoming . They also have vegetarian friendly dishes as well. Keep spreading the goodness‼️
Outstanding! We visited in the early afternoon and at one point we were the only patrons in the restaurant! Excellent time to patronize and ask for an amazing waitress by the name of "Cheyenne!" She was attentive, fun, and efficient to our needs! The restaurant was nice and clean and well kept from the hostess stand to the tables, the bar and the booths! Quite impressive! The food was the best we'd ever had here! As you can see from the photos, we ordered different entrees and there were no complaints! Great for pickup orders on the go and enough food to fill you up! I never remember this Tex-Mex restaurant on the top of my list and need to keep it in mind! Thank you all, and we'll see you soon!
The food was delicious, I had tacos ground beef and chicken and the meat was actually seasoned... My server was Amazing and the Margaritas were definitely on point!! I will absolutely be back soon 🤪😊🌮🍽
Very good food and lots of it! I had the #10, la mer (spinach enchiladas with shrimp) and loved it. My husband's chili relleno was as delicious. Some different takes on Mexican food, well worth it.
