This place is awesome. If I buy the dinner portion and get the large rice instead of small, it will usually last me four meals. Such an excellent deal and the food is really freakin' good. I've never been disappointed and I hold somewhat high standards for how tasty I think things should be.
Consistently good. Great Chinese food close to campus. If you're around campus and need takeout, this is the place to go! The food is consistently good and the service is quick. And don't forget it's cash only!
I'm a big soup eater after some recent surgery.... And Great Wall gladly cooked up something special for me! Was a terrific variation of Won Ton soup... Thank you... Staff is nice and engaging with good food and terrific prices. I love going here.

Absolutely Love the Kung Po Chicken... Kung Po Chicken is my Chinese go-to dish and Great Wall is the place I go-to get it! Love it!! Beef with Broccoli is good as is the Chicken with Broccoli. I'll eat about anything on their menu.
Shrimp eggrolls are especially good as well.
Always hot, fresh, and really good! Portions are well worth the good price.
It's all about the sauce!. For simple, inexpensive Chinese takeout this is the spot. I've eaten authentic Chinese and Americanized Chinese food. I must say that regardless, the sauce is what makes any good Chinese dish.
I had the Hunan Shrimp, which wasn't all that spicy (so if you want it more so, just ask), but the sauce was balanced so well! Sauce is the most important thing in REAL Chinese cooking, and here it tends to be nice and light, but yet, still true to its roots in many ways. There are several kinds of sauces that serve as a base in Chinese cooking, and many different variants on them.
Also If your really hungry, it seems the dinner portions are quite larger.
The inside isn't impressive, but the food will fill you up and it will taste amazing. Other Note: The egg rolls are enormous (one is the size of two), so don't let the price of them scare you.
Great food. In my opinion, the food is the best quantity and quality for the price. Sesame Chicken is best around. Fast service. Great lunch menu.
Good: Americanized Chinese food, but tasty. Also close to UK campus and hospital. Bad: cash only. No delivery.
One of my favorite places! The pork fired rice is fantastic. Nothing fancy here but great tasting food.
@Patrick: It's your own fault for not checking your order before walking out. The workers are human, and English isn't their first language. People make mistakes. So, don't bitch when you don't check your own food before you leave the store. I work near here and if I'm on this side of town, I always eat here. Great food, may take a bit to get but it's made to order. Never had a bad experience here and the employees have always been polite.
Really Solid Chinese Carryout. I'm not going to claim that Great Wall is particularly innovative or groundbreaking, but I will say that if you're looking for very solid carryout, this is your place.
Portions are very big, and having eaten their several times, I can tell you that the quality is consistently good. The vegetables are cooked just right, not soggy or too oily. I wish I could use a wok as well as the cooks at Great Wall. And unlike some Chinese joints, I've never encountered any questionable pieces of meat in my meal. (Please not: I'm referring to bad cuts of meat, not mystery meat or anything like that.)
If I remember correctly, an entree with an egg roll costs around $7 dollars. I used to like to get a group of 3 friends together, and have everyone order a different entree, and then have a feast.
