Amazing authentic Italian food at an affordable price. My wife and I visited on Oct. 30th for lunch. Great place. They even had gluten-free options for her. Clean, friendly, and great food. We will be returning soon.

So it gets 3 stars bc the food was good. We are from out of town and visited the area. Here is the deal the young lady working the counter rude AF. My husband tried asking some simple questions and she had a horrible look on her face the whole time and rolling her eyes. You guys need to get better help. Hard to recommend your little shop when you have ppl that are that rude that work there. It was enough to make me wanna walk out and not order.

I've tried this place a few times last year and wasn't impressed. I swore I wouldn't go back but I decided to give it another try. Ordered chicken parm with gnocchis and extra sauce. Chicken was decent but the gnocchis were just mushed together in a lumpy mess of dough and dry. They just put it all out and it just sits there all day. It didn't appear extra sauce was provided and the sauce was average in taste. They used to have high quality sauce. Pizza bread used to be to die for but it seemed off. Maybe too doughy and not cooked enough. The eggdrop soup was decent at least. Some of the issues were there before and it doesn't seem to have improved. Gave it another chance but I'm probably done. There's too many good Italian places around and it's not any cheaper to get takeout from a deli.

I didn't know what to expect when I walked into COMO on Main Street in Lewiston New York, as I'd never been in here before. My wife used to live in Lewiston as a kid, so we come back once in a while to drive past her mom's house and to go to Hibbard's Custard (the vanilla milkshake made with their homemade vanilla custard a must!) and to patronize the wonderful meat market just a couple of doors down from Hibbard's! With a lot of the summertime places such as Hibbards now closed, we still took a ride from Buffalo out to Lewiston earlier today to spend some quality time together. I realized after a while that I was getting hungry, and drove up and down Main Street in Lewiston looking for takeaway eats. I didn't know anything about the COMO from looking at it from the outside, but went in to see what was available. I ordered a steak and cheese sub the way I usually like steak and cheese subs with a little bit of oil, a little bit of mayo, some lettuce and a little bit of onion. They use beautiful red Bermuda onion here! I'm not saying this because I didn't like their tomato, because I didn't have their tomato. For me, unless a tomato is pulled out of the garden from the back, I'm a "hold the tomato" type of a guy. They didn't offer a "steak in the grass" option with sauteed greens and/or sauteed spinach, but hey, I'm not at all complaining. They were doing it their way, and it was WAY delicious just the way it was done! It was 8.95 and when it came out about 12 to 15 minutes later, I initially thought wow, I know I ordered the small one, but this looks really small for 8.95, but was I ever surprised! It was like seeing the doors open in the clown car VW when I was younger at Barnum & Bailey Ringling Brothers circus. You remember how the endless clowns would keep coming out? Well when I opened up the beautifully wrapped up so-called "small sub", it was packed like crazy with some of the highest quality steak I'd ever had in a sub! There was no fat or gristle of any kind to be found! I'm assuming they used a mild provolone cheese or the like, which was also out of this world delicious! The tiny bit of mayo and oil I'd asked for, along with the Bermuda onion and the exquisitely toasted roll was also a real treat! Someone was certainly cooking with care! This sandwich was so freakin' packed, that initially I thought uh oh, I hope this is good. It was WAY beyond good! It was cooked to perfection & wasn't at all dry! It was high quality steak done just right! What I thought I would have liked was just a bit of sauteed greens or lightly sauteed spinach on it too, but this sandwich was still out of this world delicious without it. Maybe next time if they wouldn't mind accommodating me, I might ask for fried onions, although that beautiful raw Bermuda onion so beautifully sliced, was also an excellent accent to a wonderful sandwich! As a former restaurant owner and my wife being an-ex chef, I was absolutely stunned at the efficiency of the service and the attentiveness to food quality. I only wish they weren't so far away. They might be the excuse I need to go for a nice ride with my wife back to Lewiston sooner than later, even though Hibbard's custard is closed for the winter. There was enough in this sandwich for my wife to also share, for which she said "Wow! This is very good!" COMO is now and will always be a favorite. With the way the staff works so hard to put out such high quality eats, and to see their discipline and work ethic combine to create such a high quality product, I wish all of them well. Serious folk and serious food! I very much look forward to returning. I'd also like to thank the wonderful staff at Como for making mine & my wife's Sunday even more enjoyable 😊

Went in after work to pick up something to eat. The clerk didn’t seem happy at all she seemed annoyed when I had walked in. So to top it all off before she finished taken care of my order 2 gentleman walked in and she completely stopped taking care of me and went right over to take care of them. I’m like what the heck I was here first what about me. Beyond rude in my eyes as a resident of a Lewiston you should be ashamed. As an establishment that serves food I wouldn’t dare eat the food here knowing how customers are treated I definitely think management should look into customer service classes for their employees because my self having worked in in customer service myself I find this establishment customer service to be distasteful and just plain rude I will never return to this establishment ever again and I will tell everybody not to go to the Como in Lewiston.

The food was good. But when I called to order last night 35 minutes to closing time ,the lady on the phone let me know repeatedly how annoyed she was that I called that close to closing time. Was very unpleasant when I paid and picked up my order. However the young man that unlocked the door to let me out could not have been nicer
