Classic cage on the window drive-in! Always amazing, for generations. Mom has been coming since it was A&W way back when! Monica is a total sweetheart and her Mèmére Gina makes the best extra crispy fries. All of the girls are great. Always excited around my birthday for two reasons: Maple Sunday and Val's opening day!

The food was great. My fishburger was flaky with a soft bun and plenty of tarter. I ended up finishing it with a fork...but it was really good! The large poutine was a very generous size, even when sharing it. Service was quick and pleasant.

A local icon and a must!
Only complaint is they make the cheeseburger upside down. They put the cheese on bottom instead of on top.
The food is fantastic and a great value though!

Haven't been here in years. Was dissapointed. Root beer was not even cool. Burgers were blasé. Onion rings were frozen and the onion slipped out of the batter. The fries were just average. Years ago it used to be delicious....

No ice in the root beer. Got warm fast. Fried pickles were fried in the fish oil. They tasted of fish. I was so looking forward. I won’t be returning again

I've come to Val's every year for the past 20 years since I was a child. Never in my life have I had such an awful experience here. I ordered a burger with the fixins and when it came back it was loaded with so much grease that my burger literally fell apart as I was eating it and everything fell all over me and my car. When I told the waitress about it she just laughed and was that oh that's a shame didn't offer to get me a new food or anything. And this was after leaving a $15 tip will not be going back again

The service was good but the food was eh...just thrown together. They use shredded lettuce on their burgers and it makes it messy. Their fried oreos are good tho.
