Similar to other reviews, I've got to mention that it does take a while for your food. We went on a Monday morning so it wasn't packed, but I did hear that Mondays and Tuesdays there are only two people staffed. So maybe try Wed-Fri if you're worried about wait time? That being said, I think we spent about an hour and a half total. We ordered two pancakes and the 3 egg meal, it took about 35-40min to get to the table. The portions were HUGE, so it's definitely very worth the wait if you're hungry, and the prices can't be beat. We weren't in a rush and the staff was friendly enough, there are definitely regulars that come in too. I think really the only gripe we had were the pancakes, they're massive but they weren't very good. They're very dense and a bit dry, but again if you're looking for a filling meal they're perfect. Overall I'd give this a 3.5 if I could. In terms of cleanliness, the ceiling is questionable, it's a bit run down. But the tables and menus are wiped down after every use and the occupied tables were spaced out. I'm not sure how it would be on a busy weekend though. So, worth it for the bigger portions, but they're not joking about the wait

I love this place. Friendly. Food made to order. Family place. My daughter has special needs. And when I found this place last year, it was 6am my daughter was crying and I was just going to take my food to go. I was told not to go anywhere this is a family place. it's ok. The waitress son came over with a toy to try and calm my daughter. This place stuck in my heart❤. I will return every time I'm in the area... thank you

Four plus stars of value for their hearty breakfast of two large eggs over easy, two slices of sliced ham, generous dinner-style home fries and 2 slices of rye bread was fit for our full days walk in nearby cape henlopen state park. Slow service at 7 am is their hit for value! That said, servers are a stressed lot trying to serve US all as we get out and about this summer.
