The chicken and rice is the best I’ve ever had, seriously. Great price, quick service, excellent white sauce. They are also open pretty late. Highly recommend

The food is legit delicious, portion size is good for 1. Has options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian people. No vegan options though (if you're looking for it). Out of their menu, Falafel sandwich and Mixed over rice are must tries.
PS: sometimes they don't have everything that's listed on the menu.

I'm a pretty big halal cart guy. I seek them out in the boroughs, and here on LI. This place is the best I've tried in New York, period. Of the three main places on LI (Hamza & Madina, Shah's, Empire), this place makes the others seem like disgusting, flavorless messes.
Edit: Had to lower my rating. They keep cycling new staff who don't know how to cook. Things are either overcooked, undercooked. The rice has become dry. The white sauce doesn't taste the same. I think the seasonings changed too.
This cart used to be great until about a month ago. If you're the owner: please fix it.
