Ok so those previous reviews must be old because this place is AMAZING! They say you get what you pay for but you get more for what you paid for here! Food is excellent. Sushi beats some sushi restaurants.. And this is a buffet! They have a microwave if your a complainer that your food isn't hot enough. But mine always is. Just like any other buffet you should go when its busy so there is hot fresh food constantly. Large dining area and one private room. Never had to wait to be seated yet but I mainly go for lunch. 9/10!!
A Pleasant Surprise. Went there tonight and it was packed but I still asked how long is the wait surprised it was only 20 minutes. Got to our seats and checked out the food. I was expecting the usual menu but pleasantly surprised on the array of food. There was salad bar with shrimps mussels etc., a sushi section, hibacchi section which i wasnt able to check out. The food was quickly replenished they even have a chocolate fondue! The party room is a little bit on the small side. For $12.49 inclusive of unlimited soda Chens Buffet City didnt disappoint!
It's an inexpensive option, will never replace a dinner at a good Chinese restaurant, but good value for the price. When the place first opened last December there was always a wait for a table, but the hype seems to have died down and tonight we were seated immediately. Sushi is good, though there isn't much variety, most steam table items are flavorful and the Mongolian wok is a good option. Dessert is somewhat lacking unless you like the chocolate fountain. Staff is attentive. And we usually find coupons in the Pennysaver.
For sure a really good place with an option for everyone to eat what you like.
None would be left out for vegetarians lovers and non-vegetarian 🥩 🍗 lovers.
The only thing for the day I went was the red pork and sesame chicken were too salty.
For sure they have really good food variety.

Nice buffet with reasonable price that the staffs here are so friendly! There are so many food varieties here. One thing I like the most is that there are so many choices of ice creams to choose from! I had a great time here!

Food is good depending on the dish. Early bird at $5.99 is definitely worth the visit. Wish the ice cream was soft serve, but the chocolate fountain makes up for it. Bathroom sign was put on the wrong side of the door which is pretty cute :)
Chen’s buffet is located in Levitton just across stret another big buffet restaurant I like to vibe because is well too ...
Service is fast, polite, and sometime is unobtrusive. Our new food , came quickly and were delicious.

I love buffets. I love the variety and looking at the different foods, deciding which ones I want to try. And that’s what I do, a little spoonful of many things and then I go back for more (especially that Coconut Shrimp!) I have been to many buffets in my time, and I really can’t think of one that comes close to the variety and quality at Chen’s Buffet City. The restaurant (and restrooms) are spotless. Food is constantly being replenished (and they don’t put a “pile” of food in the pans, so you know you’re always getting a fresh selection). Benny and his staff could not be more attentive: three times a year I organize a mini-reunion for our dental office staff (past and present), we have anywhere from 16 to 35 in attendance and Benny’s staff goes out of their way to accommodate our every need; we are never rushed.
As for the selection: ribs, peel-and-eat-shrimp, crab, beef, lo-mein, soups, fresh and bountiful sushi, delectable desserts, fresh fruit, a freezer filled with ice cream varieties, free refills on beverages… I can’t think of a thing that’s missing. If you’re planning a gathering, there’s plenty of room (including a private room) and food to satisfy everyone’s taste. If you just want a small dinner party be sure to call Benny. They will not rush you and you will leave so satisfied (for a great price!!)

The food was fresh and readonably priced especially for lunch and dinner. I don't eat meat so this was a great option for stir fry.
I love dining at this restaurant with my family. They have a lot of food and the service is nice. Some of the waiters don't speak good English but they're overall well. You can also book a part in the restaurant for a party to celebrate a birthday or graduation or whatever. The food is also usually fresh. I recommend this place if you're looking for some yummy Chinese food, all you can eat.
I went here for a lunch for the first time with my kids. It was a good experience for us and the food was good too. One negative taste was the seaweed, I think it was the vinegar on it. It was quiet with a few people in at the time of entry (about 2pm on a Monday). The food was still fresh tasting.
Always very clean and the staff is very friendly and quick. I think the food does depend on the day because I've been there and it's been great and sometimes it's just ok. I wouldn't say horrible like some of these other reviews it's really not that bad but ya know some days are definitely better than others. I'm going to keep coming here because I like the food it's quick and great prices and I love having variety.
