When it comes to Mediterranean / Turkish food I'm legitimately questioning if I've ever had any as good as what I just had tonight at Sofra. Every dish was what I wanted it to be. Every part of the cold appetizer platter was perfect. The hummus was the best hummus. The eggplant was addictive. The crushed veggies were delicious. And then my grilled chicken combo came out and it was all awesome. I've been to places with similar cuisine and I've enjoyed it, but I've never really been blown away. I'll get all excited by the sight of meats on long skewers or delicious looking dips only to eat them and think, "Yeah that's pretty good, but I don't think I'd pay for it again." But at Sofra it was like someone finally got things right. It not only looked beautiful, but the food tasted as seasoned as delicious as I'd always wanted this type of cuisine to be. It it a little pricey? Yes. Normally I'm cheap as hell and would write a place off if the food was more than I wanted to pay on a night out, but this food was so good that I already know for a fact I'll be back. It's worth it. If you get the app platter maybe split it with three of four people instead of two. We were stuffed. Go give them your business because we all know the location is a TOUGH one. Only one side of the street can turn in and it's easy not to notice it there as you zoom by on 13. But you should really go there like... today.

Sofra Mediterranean Restaurant has a welcoming staff that made our dining experience enjoyable. Although I wasn't a fan of the Lamb Adana dish and found the lentil soup a bit spicier than expected, the kebabs were a standout with delicious flavors. Overall, it was a good meal, and I appreciate the friendly service.

This place is great! Such a nice atmosphere inside, super cute and homey. Some of the best food around <3 Sofra Kabab is the best bit of everything they have to offer! Pics are from takeout from our first meal and it's definitely become a common answer to "what are you feeling for dinner?".

A very warm fuzzy feeling to this place. When driving by it’s design and sign would probably not catch the eye but believe me or come haunt me in my dreams this place is wonderful for a foodie like me. Calm, kind, and humble are the staff and THE FOOD IS VERY VERY GOOD! You can taste the authenticity in the food. The owner who is also the chef is Turkish works hard to carry this place. I highly appreciate the fact that he reserved us a table though we came in at 9:18 pm(basically close to closing time(10pm) ) he served us fresh amazing food. As we sat down and had dinner I can hear him in the back making our desert, I felt bad but he made us feel welcomed though he is not a man of much conversation you can tell by his demeanor and character. I brought with me my young ones and that wasn’t a problem too he made us all feel very welcomed, kind of as if we were at an uncles restaurant! Weird but warm fuzzy good weird lol. Anyways, we left after closing time we apologized but he said not to worry handed my kiddos some candy and we left very satisfied and full. The kunafa is a treat you must try, unlike other kunafas his kunafa has a buttery sweet , very homemade taste to it. Their shish kabob is BOMB! And the rice was fresh. The shepherds salad was fresh and crunchy and clean, with a lovely vinaigrette to compliment the big cuts of spinach and tomatoes. My kiddies had some fries and tenders they loved as you can see in my pics the fries are cut like skinny wedges which is wonderful because they kept a nice softness to them while crunchy on the outside. The tenders were a generous amount and the taste, well my kids had no complaints. The atmosphere was humble, homely and welcoming with no overbearing noises, decor or staff, just an occasional thumbs up from the chef to make sure we were doing alright and then leaving you to your food ….. JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT! try this place out yall he deserves more costumers believe me!

I lived in Turkey for almost a decade and my husband and children were all born there. We drove over to try a new Turkish restaurant, and we were glad we did. The place is not as fancy as other restaurants, but the difference is reflected in the price - other restaurants we’ve been to ended up costing 50% more! The food was excellent and everyone who worked there was very nice.

This is one of those quaint places that surprises you. Located just opposite the Walmart Supercenter at Levittown, beside the Septa station, I was surprised I didn't see more people here. Maybe because of it's humble appearance from the outside. Thank God for Google Reviews! Leaving the Arby's and several other fast food chains aside, we chose this place for lunch because of the 4.5 rating. And we were taken by surprise at the cozy, friendly and private interiors. The owner is of Turkish origin and loves to watch Soccer. The Turkish soccer channel played in the background, as we sat down and chatted in low voice about how different the interior is from our expectations. If you love lamb, there's several kebab options for you. We went with a simple Filet mignon (medium done) that came with a salad, fragrant rice and complimentary bread. We had baklava for dessert. I wanted rice pudding but he didn't have any, but the baklava lived entirely up to my expectations! If the cozy interior was not enough to impress us, the delicious food ensured that we are definitely going back. "Do not judge a book by its cover", believe this proverb and try out this eatery!
