Rustic Knead

I had lunch here again yesterday and was reminded just how delicious this place is! My husband and I agree that it is literally the best sandwich you’ll ever buy/taste! Ive tried the caprese and the organic turkey gruyere and they are both insanely delicious! My husband gets the beef sandwich (El Rancho or something) and its so delicious, the cold cuts are cut fresh in front of you and sometimes you can see them making fresh bread too! The flavor profiles on these sandwiches are amazing! The actual decor and aesthetic of the space is also very woodsy and cool, like a cafe you’d find in downtown Chicago more than Lemont! We’ll definitely be stopping in here more often! Pleaseee extend your hours haha

The food is beautiful 😍. You can see the bread being made while you wait in line. The food quality is amazing and is way better than Starbucks. The inside is large and visually appealing. The staff was great and extremely kind. I got the monkey muffin and it was delicious! The hot coffee is very good and they offer oatly as non dairy creamer. Although I have no intolerance, they offer gluten free and dairy free options to be super inclusive. The bread is just over $3 which is cheaper than the stores and fresh! I will definitely be coming back soon!

My wife and I stop here every time we come to visit family from the city. The bread is fresh and soft, they have a great vegetarian selection and fresh bread and jams you can take home. We wish we had one just like it in the city. The ambiance is adorable and modern. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. I highly recommend!!!

This place is a neat sandwich shop. They have a nice variety of sandwiches to choose from, along with some salad and soups. I recently went here with some relatives- it was a nice atmosphere to eat. I liked the food they had, and the service was great overall. I may not be crazy about it, but it's worth stopping by to give it a try.

The meats and cheeses are such high quality and a great variety; there are so many amazing sandwiches! They offer bakery items, soups, sandwiches, teas and coffee, chocolate, bread, cookies, so many things! Cozy and well decorated interior. Come a little early for lunch to get a seat, they will be packed by noon!

Fresh ingredients, on the spot sandwich making, nice selection of breads, cheeses, spreads, deli meat. I debated between salad and sandwich, went with the brie sandwich on multigrain baguette… delicious fig spread, nice combo with pear and arugula, and I only wanted one slice of ham …only thing I should have thought of was asking for toasting of the bread … next time.
