Coming from 6 years in Hawaii and having a huge love for this kinda food and atmosphere. This really is one of the best places in leesville if your culturally diverse in food, top three spots for sure, great service a absolute gem tucked away. And cash only purchases just feel right. Atm at circle k if you need to pull cash.

The food was delicious and is made to order. The staff, an older man and woman, were kind and made absolutely amazing food. The experience overall was wonderful, and I recommend it to everyone I know for good food.

Excellent ingredients
I had the Starlight Special , Spicy Shrimp and Cucumber Kimchi ... everything was excellent and the ingredients were fresh and tasty as they should be. A local favorite for several years now. Friendly and professional staff.
I highly recommend eating here.

Delicious food and great service. My family and I stopped in here for lunch and we're glad we did. We all ordered different things - starlite special, sweet and sour chicken, kalbi and rice, and udong noodles...along with cabbage kimchi and cucumber kimchi. Personally, I thought the starlight special was the best dish and the cucumber kimchi was AMAZING.....and this is coming from someone who typically avoids kimchi like the plague because of flavor and spice level. ISide Note - it's been 5 months and I'm still raving about the cucumber kimchi!)
The owners were so kind and wonderful to talk to. Being from Houston, we have wide selection of Korean restaurants to choose from, so we were quite impressed with the food here. Definitely recommend giving this place a try and make sure to get the starlite special!

A taste that's out of this world!~ Starlite has been around since I was a kid and my grandfather, who's no longer with us, loved that place. I always get a sense of 'times gone by' when I go there. I love that she still only accepts cash.

Place was rated higher than other Korean places in town so I decided to try it. Glad I did. I had the Jajameung noodles. Yummy. Place is very clean looking and kind of diner style. Very cozy.
