The food was delicious! My husband has always wanted to try oxtail and was so excited about it. He said it was awesome! The Mac & cheese, cabbage, and plantains were really good. They were the best plantains I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and attentive.
All I can say is WOW! Out of all the Jamaican spots I’ve been the Spot is by far the best place for authentic Jamaican cuisine. I want to commend the receptionist at the front window. She is the epitome of customer service. She is very kind, she took her time to explain the menu options and sizes to me (which I really appreciated) and she sincerely apologized for the food being a bit late which was absolutely no big deal. Now the food itself is spectacular! The portions are really good for the price and I still have some leftover! I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be a returning customer!!
Our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! We got the large sampler. It was enough to feed 4 people easily. We will most definitely be back. Don't expect to get the normal coke product here. Authentic Jamaica drinks to chose from sure changes up the experience.
This place is so incredible! From the customer service, to the drinks and food, this restaurant is Amazing!! We got the large sampler, Roti, coco bread, Ginger beer and the Reggae medley. If you like hot sauce, they sell an incredible hot sauce with West Indian Red Peppers…………highly recommend!!!!!! They definitely cook with love, we can’t wait to try everything on their menu!!!!
Everything was wonderful. The lady at the front was so sweet and so nice. The food was seasoned to perfection. The oxtails and curry goat was so tender. It took me 3 days to finish the whole plate. I can't wait to go back.

Tasty, high-quality food and friendly service. I stopped here on the way through town because I was curious about Jamaican food. I had heard from some it was really spicy, but that was not the case here. I had the small sampler plate which was $20 but could’ve easily fed two people. It was so fun trying the different kinds of meats. Jerk chicken, jerk pork, roasted pork, ox tail, curry chicken, and maybe I left something out! What a nice surprise for road food!
The food here is the best in town. We dined in for the first time and the hospitality was superb. Have eaten here a few times now and it seems to get better and better.

Google is your friend when you are away from home and feel like trying something new. I found this place doing a search of this area. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with rice and beans and mixed vegetables. The portions are adequate and the price seemed reasonable. The staff was very attentive. I will definitely be back to try more items of their menu.
I've had food from here several times but was finally able to stop by and get it myself. The jerk chicken was excellent and huge portions. The restaurant is small and quaint with island type music playing. Had a great conversation with the owner. Look forward to going back again.
WOW - If you're in the area do yourself a favor and treat yourself to The Jamaican Spot! I have five vacations to Jamaica under my belt and this place is authentic Jamaican cuisine. I had the two meat option and chose Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. It comes with rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains. I substituted mixed vegetables for the cabbage. Every bite was fantastic. I only have one more day on this trip and you can bet I'll be here tomorrow. The service was spot on!
