8/10 On 7/12/10 we had a 2pm lunch at Don Perico at Grapvine/Lebec. We ordered a la cart tacos and enchilada and canitas burreto which is without beans and rice for $4 less than the combination plates. The burrito was very good wet (sauce) with cheese and beans inside 8/10. The beef taco was very good and not greasy 8/10. The beef enchalada also very good 8/10. The free chips and salsa were good but a little greasy 7/10. Service was prompt (1/2 hour we were done) but no ambiance. We spent $13 for the 3 a la cart. Overall a good value and an 8/10.

Great Mexican restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Stopped in for lunch and everyone was satisfied. The salsa was amazing and the food was delicious. I got the Muy Grande chimichanga, this thing is a monster! I am a pretty big eater and it was enough for two meals. I think it was only about$14 too! Also the waiter was great!

This place is a hidden gem. While the building itself needs remodeling the staff and food are phenomenal. My wife and I travel the country and were pleasantly surprised. Nestled here at the foot of the grapevine this place didn’t look like much. In need of updating it is quite surprising. Let’s start with Flavio . This mans demeanor just makes you feel right at home. Smiling, whistling, and very friendly. The cook Jose was just as pleasant and man could he make a dish! My wife had the #13 combination. Her only complaint was that the dish needed Hatch Green Chili’s instead of Anaheim Peppers. But the Anaheim’s were good. I had the Fajitas Mixtecas. They were perfectly seasoned and more than one person could eat. Thanks guys for the experience. We will be back! On the downside is the bathrooms while the food was terrific and the staff was friendly the bathrooms and the building definitely needed work.

Excellent choice for a pit stop on our way to LA! Bartender was friendly, efficient, and fun! Food was exactly what we needed to get through the drive. Definitely will stop back by!

Tried the barbacoa and was good, then tried tacos de pollo and the pollo was to dry like heated on microwave oven, customer service great, ambience nice

Definitely a must stop spot for some real good authentic Mexican food and the service was to awesome as well and did not even have to ask for a refill and I got everything I asked for with no complaints. 👍👍

Tasty food, good drinks, great happy hour and kind staff! Really loved it, though the guacamole was a bit smaller than expected (but still huge!).

So far, so~ good! It was my 1st time eating there, and I was thoroughly impressed. Delicious fresh food. Everything tasted authentic, their chips and salsa were top notch as well. A lot of restaurants use store bought chips but these were made in-house. Very good restaurant. Highly recommended.
