Sum Yan

Hands down best Chinese food we’ve ever had! That says a lot considering we’ve lived in the east coast and west. My husband is a big Chinese food fan and I am not, so when it comes to choosing dinner, he usually sacrifices one of his favorite dishes. No more!! This place is so good it’s now at the top of our mutual “go-to” dinner list! And the staff are very nice! Like other comments said, they remember your face and your order by your second visit. Phenomenal!

If you want great food go here. Try number 7 and the dish is great. This place has very good quality food. My wife and I love the food. We get number 7 and it is delicious. The egg flower soup is delicious too. We have not gotten a bad meal from here, they have all been great. Our son and grandson went with us to Sum Yan to eat. They really like the food. We ordered two number 7s, one number 8, and one number 3. We all enjoyed the food and the services. We got take out from here and the food was delicious. We got #7 and #8, it was ready in ten minutes. The food was awesome and delicious. They were open and we got to set inside. We got #7 and #6 in the combo plates We also got egg 🥚 flour soup and BBQ pork My wife had #7 and I had #6 and it was delicious. Had lunch here and we both had #7 and it was delicious. This is usually the go-to place for Chinese takeout. The food tonight (6/6) was so below expectation that we actually called and asked if the restaurant was under new management or ownership, or if they hired a new chef. The pork chow mein had no meat or vegetables, just a leaking wet box of bean sprouts. No celery or water chestnuts, no flavor. The combo special lo mein this time had very little protein mixed in and the noodles looked "held over" from Panda Express and just as greasy. The hot and sour soup was extra salty. Just NOT what we've come to expect from Sum Yan over the years. The person on the phone defended the offering, so now we're afraid to go back. I'm wondering if inflation and supply chain issues are starting to degrade what is offered by the service industry? So very sad.

Love this places I tried something new that I've never ate before and I absolutely will definitely get it again it is so good and it was them Mongolian chicken oh man that was good and the service and the people are so friendly and I ordered it to go so when I got there I asked for a menu it took me a minute to figure out what we wanted order to food and it seemed like it only took 5 or 6 minutes tops and it was done I was ready to go I couldn't believe how fast they got it done
