Tom's pick and Shoney's it was. I have not been to this place in almost 20 years ago on the other side of Tennessee. I was not much for the Buffett, for I really only am a fish and veggie kind of girl. It did look fresh and I'm sure if the country cooking is your thing, then it may have been perfect. Tom got some crazy 2 story cheese burger with bacon and fries. I got blackened salmon with teriyaki with rice and onion rings, I was allowed the salad bar and cold foods. Tom enjoyed his burger and I was surprised to enjoy my salmon and onion rings. I had some pudding and strawberry with bananas. The tea here is tasty also, and our waitress Alyssa was most excellent! I was so pleased with her eye contact attentive service and pleasant words, they are lucky to have her. I would eat there again solely on the experience alone!
Excellent food, and service staff. It was super busy and the personnel on site were very friendly and professional. Will definitely recommend the buffet as that's the thing to get. They were in constant restock mode and nothing ran out even with a house full of hungry Easter goers. Excellent job everyone!!
we went on Tues morn. not crowded. food buffet was well stocked. good selection. the staff was all wearing masks. a few customers were also. they offered plastic gloves to use utensils, which I did each time, didn't see anyone else use them. hand sanitizer was on each table. great price for the amount of food we ate. staff very attentive. be aware this Shoney's is privately owned and does not participate in the Shoney's rewards program.
Very friendly and clean lots of people but no waiting for seats. Daisy took good care of us kept our glasses full and cleaned the dishes quickly. Buffet was hot and food fresh. Much to choose from. Price was low for a Sunday Compared to other places. No mask required.
Great service always. Breakfast is the best! All the good stuff without having to cook it.
Very clean, excellent service, & delightful variety of entrees. Well worth the trip.
