Embarking on our inaugural experience with Thai cuisine, Mae Ploy's proved to be the culmination of our anticipation. Initial reservations about post-lunch alternatives were swiftly dismissed as each dish surpassed expectations, boasting freshness and exquisite flavors. Regrettably, the sushi fell short, marred by lackluster seaweed. While the ambiance received a lukewarm assessment, the stellar customer service significantly elevated the overall dining affair.
I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The owner and Chef takes time to visit each table and ensure you are satisfied with your meal. She takes such pride in sharing her food and culture with her guest and you do feel like her guest. The only thing that equals her humble hospitality is how amazing her food is. The menu has something for everyone and they offer variating spice levels on a range of 1-5. You get what you order, wether it be a 1 or a 5. All of the food is bursting with flavor and if you order a 5 it will be spicy, but it will also not compromise the integrity of the dish nor will it over power the other flavors. I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.
We stopped in for lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised. Located in the busy downtown shopping/antique/gift shop area of Lebanon, the restaurant was a nice find. We found parking in a nearby parking lot that gave an easy walk to the restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the freshness, flavor and presentation of the food. I would definitely return and would recommend the restaurant for lunch or dinner.
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. I'd move in today if I could. The pineapple fried rice with curry literally blew my mind. The chef came out to talk with us. It was so fantastic. I'd highly recommend eating here. I cant wait to go back for the sushi.
BEST Thai restaurant ever! Delicious fried rice, see ew (thick noodles), appetizers - spring roll, cheese rangoli, curry dishes, deep fried ice cream and banana with chocolate drizzle, thai iced tea and bubble tea. EXCELLENT service! The owner creates a very welcoming atmosphere and talks to all customers. Highly recommend this place! A MUST TRY!

The bartender Garrett was slammed busy and still managed to provide a positive attitude and a perfectly mixed drink.

Really tasty food! We had a great time here, the restraunt is very clean, the waitstaff SAS very attentive and helpful. The food was really good. I had the fish nuggets (can't remember the name on the menu), it was REALLY tasty. Highly recommend.
New to the area. First time here. Excellent service provided by Tong. Delicious food. Pad Thai and Island Hot Plate. Owner stopped at our table to welcome us and returned later to be sure we were satisfied. We will return.
After months of personal unprecedented deliberation and thoughtfulness, I have determined that Mae Ploy's is, indeed, the best Thai food in the area.
Everything is flavorful and delicious. The service is personable and friendly. Prices are great. Atmosphere is really cool too (the building is an old bank).
The quality of the food is much better than average and this is a place where you want to try to eat the other things versus the common Pad Thai fare. I suggest you come Monday through Friday during lunch before 2pm because I see no real difference in price from a lunch portion and dinner. A rate option is the kids menu of limited items.
