Papa Johns Pizza

The last few times I’ve ordered from here, the garlic parmesan breadsticks have hardly any of the garlic parmesan sauce on them, they are nearly dry. May as well be just regular breadsticks. Last time I got carry out I had to ask them to put more on there. They’re nothing like they used to be. Either the employees are being lazy or they’re being really skimpy with the sauce.

I have ordered from this location on multiple occasions and without fail they have always been late. The last time I ordered pizza around 3 and scheduled it for 630pm - This should have been plenty of time but nope I hadn't received it until about 830pm and all of the kids were hungry. I called and asked to speak to the manager and he told me that I was keeping him from making pizza for others. I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Ordered from here and waited and waited and waited for the pizza to arrive. Come to find out it was left at the door on the floor!!! We brought it in and opened both boxes, no lie there was a ROACH in each box!!!!! We DO NOT have roaches! I called the store and spoke to the manager he said oh yea we don't have any delivery drivers and so we had to ask door dash to deliver your pizza!! Well thanks for letting us know and thanks for the roaches!!! I think the health department needs to give this place a visit. Or the door dash driver must have a car full of roaches. I can't believe Im even writing this right now. Wow so disgusting I almost vomited! Both pizzas in the trash! We called Dominoes pizza was delivered crazy fast, fresh, delicious and the delivery driver even said have a great week! Wow thank you so much Dominos you never let us down!!!

I never received my order. Placed an order at 6:30 tonight and got the prompt saying it would be ready in 30-45 minutes. After an hour, my app says “delivered” but no pizza. I call the store and the guy says it’s just late but it will be delivered in 20 more minutes. Another hour passes and my husband calls and the guy says it’ll be another 20 minutes. Another hour later (it’s 9:30 at this point) we give up and I order from Domino’s instead, which actually had my pizza out in 20 minutes. Won’t be ordering from this location again.

Third time ordering from this Papa John’s, since we moved and this is now the closest one to us. Every single time, the pizza is pathetic! Unlike the other Papa John’s. We like thin crust, but they can never get them right. It was always way too thin, too dry, over cooked, and very skimpy on the toppings. I will drive to another Papa John’s before I order from them again. So NOT worth it! We ordered The Works, Buffalo Chicken, and Pepperoni this time, and I had to take pictures to share/show. Three tries, three chances, and all bad. :( Too bad because we love Papa John’s, just not this particular Papa John’s.

So, here I am again, after having left a one star review seven months ago regarding the incompetent manager in charge during week nights, Friday nights not included. Since then, I have mainly ordered only on Friday or Saturday nights, albeit very rarely, and have been satisfied with everything. Until tonight, I probably would have given three stars (in comparison to other Papa Johns locations in Round Rock and Austin). I understand it’s the holidays, they’re probably short staffed, have every excuse every other service oriented business has. But, seriously, a simple order: one “The Meats” and one “Garden Fresh” (on Garden Fresh, we switched onions for banana peppers). The Meats pizza was good, but I have no idea what went wrong with the Garden Fresh pizza. The cheese was not fully cooked, the bell pepper slice (yes, just one) had unidentifiable round things on it, and instead of just switching the onions for the banana peppers, the employee who made this pizza decided to just empty the jar on it. I literally had banana pepper juice running down my hands by the second bite. I could understand an order being mixed up or forgotten drinks because it’s a busy time of year. But because this is not my first disappointing review of this particular location, I have to assume that sloppy and just not caring is a theme the management accepts.
