Mcdonald's

This is my neighborhood McDonald's and I have to give them props. They are always friendly, the drive thru is FAST, and the quality is always good. I can't remember the last time they got my order wrong or something was cooked improperly. I take them for granted but they do a great job and I am thankful they are always there when I need them! Thanks McDonald's of Leander crew!

Some people have some good reviews. Not me. I ordered some food online. When I got to the store, they didn't have what I ordered. I asked for my money back and they person in charge said they couldn't because it was an online order. I called corporate and Araceli Aviles, McDonald's Customer Service Representative, Customer Care Expert got back and offered to give me a $10 gift card. I agreed. I drove up to McDonalds and they card was never activated per the employee. I called Araceli back and she said it should work. She asked me to send it back and she would send me another one. I received back the card I sent saying the address was not deliverable. I haven't heard back from Araceli Aviles from email or my phone. Welcome to the new age where no one really cares!

We ordered smoothies, the person at the window asked us to park. We saw several customers come and go with their orders. After about 15 minutes we went inside to check on the order. It was finally ready sitting on the counter. When we asked why it took so long, they completely ignored us. They didn't even apologize. The girl went to the back when another was talking to her in Spanish. Talk about poor customer service. They should have let us know there was an issue and apologized. This happened on a week night sometime around 8pm.

I don't know what's going on with the "New", cooked fresh, quarter pounder. When they first launched it about a year ago, there were several stores where it was pretty unbelievable, comparable to many non fast food restaurants. It came out medium rare, and nothing like the old version. I have tried it, several times at this store and I'm pretty sure they never got the memo about cooking it fresh. It is basically the overdone, tasteless, quarter pounder that we were supposed to forget ever happened.
