Cherry Creek Catfish - Leander - Photo album

Finally found a great catfish restaurant near Austin. The catfish fillets were lightly breaded and perfectly fried. I got the Cherry Creek Trio plate. Included 3 catfish fillets, 3 butterfly shrimp and 2 ribs. The ribs were surprisingly good as were the shrimp. Love that jalapeno tartar sauce!

Our 2nd time eating here in the last two years. Food was great and portions were large. I had the fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp were large a and the batter was light and fresh tasting. We had the onion rings and fried pickles too. Both were really tasty. This is a good restaurant to share a plate

The service is always excellent! It was my first time trying fried green tomatoes and they were pretty good! I loved that they were free when you checked in to the Yelp app!

I ordered the Cheery Creek Trio platter that came with catfish, shrimp and ribs. My ribs were dry as shoe leather and horrible. Whoever put those ribs on a plate should be fired. The shrimp and catfish were average at best. Will not be coming back.

Meh. I'm not sure, but I think nearly everything on the menu is fried. I suppose that's how it's supposed to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm exactly the kind of gal that likes me some fried seafood. Great place for catfish..lol as the name implies. Also $2.00 longnecks everyday..services is always great...chairs are a little tough on the backside ..lol..or else a five star..rest of place gets my five star review. Plus as added bonus free half order of fried tomatoes with Yelp checkin😜

The place was clean staff was very courteous. I had the gumbo and it was excellent. My wife had fish tacos grilled and rhe catfish was great not fishy or muddy tasting like most places. We will definitly be back.

Good blackened catfish and shrimp. Key Lime Pie was average. Service was good.
