We had a party of 9, six of whom were kids and the two waitresses on duty handled it amazingly! The food was good! I got the street tacos, one of my go to plates in many different towns, and this by far had some of the BEST street tacos I've had!!! The seating area inside is small but they have an outside eating area as well! We liked it!!!

Great little restaurant. Salsa was great. They use some charred tomato in the salsa so it has a good flavor. Everything we ordered was good and they were easy to accommodate any changes we wanted to the items on the menu. The service was good for a small place and they were very busy. Overall a goods family restaurant, with good food, and lovely staff. We will be back next year for sure.

My boyfriend and I are picky eaters. We were going to play it safe and eat subway but since it was close we decided to give it a try here. I’m so glad we did! The burgers were amazing and the staff was so friendly. We ended up eating dinner there both nights we stayed in town.

Nice little spot.
I had Dave's burritos. They had a nice flavor, but at a Mexican place I would expect something spicier.
The chips and salsa were good but definitely not great.
The waitresses were hustling. Despite the fact that there were only two of them and a packed house, they checked in on us multiple times.

Non-expensive cozy flavor and easy access place. Unfortunately for me a coffee lover, I got very disappointed w coffee quality. I talk about this matters w personal n they promised me to take this matter to managers! But beside this, I recommend it if you r in Tex-Mex’s food!

Holy Moly, this place is SO GOOD. Real enchilada gravy on my beef enchiladas, not the canned stuff we usually see. My son had the street tacos and my husband had carne guisada and the beef was very tender on both and well seasoned. The rice was also really good! (None of us had beans.) The tortillas were homemade. The service was quick and the staff was attentive and very friendly!! I definitely recommend this place!

We ate there today and I had the Chicken Enchiladas plate. It was so good. 3 enchiladas plus rice and beans. They give you lots of salsa too. I will go back .

I been coming here so far back it was once a BBQ place before it was Mama Chol'e. But my last 2 trips I was very disappointed my whole family had stomachaches.
We love Mama Choles's and we drive hours to eat here. Come on and step up your game. I know you can deliver better than before. We bring friends from out state to share the Mark's Nachos.
So please do us 2 favors, 1 clean up the bathrooms and 2 raise the bar! You are representing all of Leakey, TX. The place that will always be my home. Remember people come far and wide to sit at your tables bring your A game back. 💯
