Great service and great food! Followed all protocol for covid. I go there for the yuk gae Jang and beef Kalbi. I love the traditional style soup. If you guys like traditional and comfort like soup definitely try yuk gae Jang. Perfect seasoning. Lots of veggies and meat. Broth is always on point I love the beef Kalbi as well. Super rich and delicious. Not too sweet and savory and just the right amount of meat. I know most beef Kalbi is sweet in general. But some places just cake it with sugar. If you like it to be in the middle. Try getting some here. She is Very attentive to our needs ans making sure we got enough napkins and water at our disposal. Short waiting time as you can go in and get a table. Typically takes around 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready. Considered fast for any Korean cooking in my opinion. Clean and very well organized place. Try it out if you guys are in the Layton area.

Nice mom and pop restaurant/market. Everything is very homey. Very generous with giving 3 kinds of kimchi (cucumber, napa, and radish) with my kimchi jigae. The food itself is okay; haven't tried their other dishes but at least they are generous with their portions! It's nice to have something hot and a little spicy during a cold snowy day though. I bought a lot of things from the market too (there's some specialty ingredients like potato starch noodles, gochujang, fish sauce, coconut milk, and miso). Note: if you use a credit card they charge a small non-cash fee. I think it's around 3.5%. Overall, the market is a bit expensive, but I understand because there's not a lot of options to get those specialty products around here.

Authentic Korean, fast service, great tasting food and a Korean market attached where you can buy lots of spices and ingredients to make your own dishes. If you are looking for great tasting Korean food, check this place out.

Coming from a real military town, where the Asian restaurants are ran by people who are not from Cali, so the food is more authentic, I would say this compares to Korean food back home. Yummy! Will definitely be back!

The food here is so good. I have been here several times before. This time around I had the Jajangmyeon. It was super delicious. The staff was really nice and friendly. Definitely one of my favorite korean place here in Layton.

The staff is friendly, the food is well prepared. My whole family enjoys eating there. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Prices are so reasonable that you eat better than at a fast food joint. Take out made to order or sit down and enjoy. Take a browse through the market and take home a treat for dessert.

**Update: went again months later, and still delicious! I hope this place makes it.... the ribs and rice... YUM! Went here with friends today, and it was delicious! Everything had great flavor. I had the spare ribs, and they were really good. Their kimchi was yummy. Didn't have the overly fermented/seasoned flavor that you can sometimes get. The cucumbers were refreshing, and a good palate cleanser. The pupusas were different. Loved them with the cabbage and sauce on top. We got the dumplings both fried and steamed; I would go with the fried again. We left feeling satisfied, and not with the gross feeling after eating out. We will be returning here. Hoping this review will get others to go, too.

Pretty darn good food. When we first got there there was no one to great us but we sat down and were eventually served and once we were served the service was great. Good change of pace from your normal restaurants. They even have a little store connected to the eating area which is fun.
