Nielsen’s was recommended to me by some locals and it didn’t disappoint. I’m by no means an ice cream connoisseur but I enjoyed their concretes and felt that it met the expectations of a classic shake shack. I can’t speak for the parking or the inside because we went through the drive thru, but the staff was polite and pretty quick to get us our ice cream.

We stopped by Nielsen’s one evening to pick up some shakes for the family. The service was fast. The staff was friendly. And the shakes (I think they’re called Concrete) were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be going back more often. Thanks for the delicious treat!

I don't want to admit to the number of times I've been to Nielsen's for a concrete. I grew up in Davis County. I've eaten at five different locations. Last night, my wife and I needed a break from the 100°F temperatures and headed over for some frozen custard. My wife ordered a concrete with the flavor of the day (they have vanilla and chocolate plus one additional flavor each day), raspberry, with brownie. I got chocolate with Oreos. We ate out at the picnic tables as the sun set. The concretes were perfect. The staff was friendly and quick. I'm sure we'll be back soon.

My wife and I love Nielsen's Frozen Custard! It's always very good. I always get the Maraschino cherry and almond Concrete. I have never tried any other flavor, I like it so much!

Oh, this little place is so good. The fries were cold, probably because they sunk them too soon! However, everything else was good.

We were surprised to find that they stopped serving meal foods at 5:00 pm when they are open until 10:00. We were going to order dinner but got there a little after 5:00 only to find that they were only serving drinks and frozen desserts. The "brownie" did not taste chocolaty at all. It wasn't very good. Everything else was delicious.
