The food here is amazing! If you like fish and chips this is the spot! Clam chowder had good flavor and the fries are hand cut. The shrimp is also really good.

First time visiting. Food was amazing! Had the fish/shrimp and chips, the batter was light and airy and crunchy. The fish was firm and delicious. The shepherds pie with a side of gravy. The pie was had fluffy mashed potatoes, great meat mixture and well seasoned with carrot, peas. Appetizer of fried mushrooms that used the same batter as fish and shrimp. The food is served hot and promptly. I loved the booths with their own color and name, and a little bit of history/pictures. I loved the wall of collectible spoons, books about the prince and family along with books on Diana. Very happy to have visited this place, and plan on visiting again.

First experience was good. Went with someone from England and they said the fish and chips are “just like home”. The food was good. The atmosphere even better. The Shepards Pie had great flavor and the chips(fries) were crispy. Looking forward to another visit. They have a lot of candy, chocolate, and treats from England.

Love the little shop they have inside! Fish, piccadilly chips, and clam chowder were all very tasty and seemed pretty on par with what I've experienced in London itself. Kind staff, prompt service, and fair prices.

I'm English and have lived in Utah since 2005. Let's just say I am very critical of 'English' food this side of the pond and extremely fussy about authentic fish and chips. The cod and chips were superb!!! Crispy batter, freshly cooked and hot. And the chips (fries) were wonderful too. I have found none equivalent since living here. I seriously died and went to heaven. I also bought homemade scotch eggs and pork pies. If you havent tried them, and youre looking for proper English food. It is here, AND served by the English owner. Did I mention you can buy British bacon? Why try that I hear you ask? Because it is the meatiest, most flavorful bacon you will ever have here...not full of water and that disappears in the pan when cooked, I guarantee. I shall be back again...and again

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. I was very curios about this place and intrigued by the simple and focused menu. We went for the first time on a Friday evening and saw plenty of people enjoying the food and conversation. The layout is very interesting and has varied seating options. The batter on the fish and chicken was delightful and light, with no extra flavor. The chips were also delicious and light, but without extra flavor. Sauces were also very tasty. Service was kind and prompt, with diners taking a number and awaiting their meal. It was nice to have vinegar, and the seating areas were all clean and tidy. Parking isn't an issue, unless the adjacent theater is busy, but it's otherwise good, though a little walk is necessary. We'll be back!

What a cool place! Definitely different than most restaurants in the area. Fries were beer battered with a great flavor. The sausage were a bit small but had good flavor on them, kinda of breakfast sausage flavor. Fried mushrooms were good too! The fish, while seemingly pricey, were definitely large enough to justify the price and also tasted pretty good. Shrimp were large and, yet again, good. They're all deep fried (save for the sausage) so be prepared for that. Service is quick and friendly. Nice atmosphere and a lot of cool things to look at while you're waiting for your food.

We really enjoy this place. Authentic is a great name for this restaurant, as it is exactly that! A simple menu with UK favorites and you can even get a can of Haggis in their fun product shop! And speaking of the shop, it’s got some of my most nostalgic treats in it. And I load up every visit! The food is yummy and quick. The service super and friendly. We’ll be back soon!

Taste of Britain is a pretty good place to grab fish and chips. It was exactly how I imagined it would be right down to the malt vinegar. I got the daily special which was plenty of fish and chips for me. The restaurant was clean and service was fast. The staff was exceptional and welcoming. I was even able to try my first deep fried Twinkie. Not sure if that's something I would want to do often but it wasn't too bad.
