Fairgrounds Drive-in

I have been eating here for decades, I am not certain how long the current owners have been operating this eatery. One thing is certain, the chili dogs are the best ever, homemade sauce and onions are what I like. French Fries are made to order, never soggy like fast food places. The burgers are hand shaped and are cooked when ordered. There are many other items on the menu, I am plugging what I like to eat. I have tried other items on the menu and have never been disappointed, ever… I think this place deserves a Big shout out actually, that’s why I am taking time out of my day before I roll out and get some food for the family. For small town eats, this iconic part of Lawrenceburg is the best around.

Nice little restaurant to go orders only they only accept cash no credit cards excetera I had the Chuckwagon patties one which was really good and one was burnt all to hell disappointed me which is the reason why I only gave them three stars seems like since the pandemic they've lost their touch sorry to say

They have the greatest Coney Islands and hot, crisp crinkle fries. They a always offer to put shredded cheese on the Coney's, but I never eat them that way. I love to have a few chopped onions on them, and I am in heaven! I am very particular about about my Coney Sauce and fries. The Fairgrounds also has a great deluxe burger everyone would love. Another delish treat they make themselves are their pies and other deserts. Their Chocolate Cream pie is almost as good as my Momma's! But you have to come early to get it because they sell out quickly!!! Call days in advance for whole pies -- they are worth it!!! I took Chocolate Cream and Coconut Cream Pies to a reunion and they were gone within 10 minutes, 😋

Family owned and operated! It's just a lil roadside diner. You can call your orders in or order there. It's take out only and everything is cooked as ordered. The family everyone of them are so sweet and kind. The food is always great. I stop in there everytime I get a chance, its one of my favorite little places to go for a good Cheeseburger, Coney,Pork tenderloin Sandwich just to name a few. Everyone should try it out. Their burgers and Chili dogs have been voted best in Anderson county for many many years. 10+😊😊😊
